Sooo excited! Finally, some Red Wings hockey! It's been a long Wingless summer! If the atmosphere is anything like it was on Wednesday, it should be a really entertaining game to watch!

Wings 5 Blues 2

:siren:Let's Go Wings! :siren:

According to the NHL.com, we are the home team today.

I saw that. The Red Wing schedule I printed from NHL.com has the Wings as the away team for today's game. Guess it doesn't matter, they're definately not at home for either of these 2 games.

just stopping by with a question.

Will they be using the international ice size for the game?

Don't think so. Here in Finland (FLA-CHI) they use NHL size rink. Although the Wings would benefit from bigger rink a lot.

I say Wings win 5-2. Datsyuk, Zetterberg, Filppula (x2), Abdelkader. Assists by Franzen, Kronwall, Lidstrom (x3), Draper and Leino (x2). For St. Louis, I say Backes scores and Boyes scores.

Hockey is finally back!! It has seemed like a long summer!

I'm going to have to watch this one a few hours later than it airs, but I am really excited! Hope you guys have a good time chatting in the GDT!

My prediction is 4-3 Red Wings!

Go Wings!

If lidstrom scores 3 more pts. then he reaches 1000 career pts.

I'm sure he'd like to do it infront of his friends a family in Stockholm but a milestone like that needs to take place at the Joe. Sorry Nick, but I hope you get NO POINTS in the next 2 games.

Florida beats Chicago 4-3 in the SO

Chicago is not looking like a powerhouse.

Of course, it's too early to tell. Besides, Hossa isn't playing yet.
