Oh no, not this s*** again. I suppose if Ericsson fought Koci it would have been better for us, right?

All I'm saying is there is so much talk about how enforcers make things happen and can bring fear into opponents, yet the opposite happened.

I would just love to see an enforcer be at least a small part that the Wings win a game. God damn.

The turning point, I believe, was when the Wings didn't convert on the minute PP they had. When the Avs killed that successfully, I knew they would have the momentium for the rest of the game. Those missed chances definitely came back to haunt them for sure, IMO.

Avs go 6-1-1 (think), while the Wings are 3-3-1 (I think that's right). At least the Wings got a point out of it, if there's any silver light to this.

I guess we have to be happy we came out with a point still but now we have a long road trip ahead and we have yet to win on the road. Datsyuk will be back thursday so that should help us out a bit. Maybe having him back in the lineup will give us a solid 60 minutes if the rest of the team plays like they did for the first 50 tonight.

Not to impressed with my Wings. They had so many opportunities, and blew it. There is no excuse for giving up 13 shots in the 3rd, but Ozzy let 3 of the 13 in. When we are talking about goalies save% is the only thing i care about, and Ozzy doesnt have a good %. Lets be happy this is reg. season.

It would have been good to score, but Anderson made several great saves and kept them in it, and at the other end Ozzie gave up a terrible goal and a pretty weak one on McLeod's first shot, too. The line change brainfart was bad, but in my opinion it just came down to Anderson outplaying Osgood.

Funny how people here on LGW thought the Pens would suck this year.

They're easily the best team in the NHL right now.

That's a strange way to spell 'Rangers'

Well Leino has never impressed me and im not shocked that he chocked again... oh well. We will get the W next game!

If you're talking about the shootout Zetterberg chocked too. If you're talking about the game Leino had an assist on that Flip's goal. OMG CHOCKED!!

I think Ozzie was the one who chocked. He even lost his stick in one of those SO goals.

Goodness that was awful. How they play so good for the first 2 and a half periods then suddenly stop giving a s*** is beyond me. They are not playing like the Wings. Ozzie did let in a couple bad goals I definitely won't say he didn't, but the team as whole should not have assumed they were just going to win after two solid periods.

They need to wake the hell up and fast.

At first that Leino's attempt looked like a poor one, but when you look at the replay you see it was actually so close. Was it Anderson's glove which it hit?

It looked like it hit either his glove or is arm. It was a close one.

Still, would've been nice to get at least one save from Ozzy in the SO :P. In the end the Wings' shooters only scored once on 3 shots so they didn't exactly clean up in the SO either.

Crappy third period, but at least we walked away with a point.

ANd penguins continue to roll... they just won the cup.. they dont have any hangover... they're a machine....

They're an eastern team. If they were in the West, they'd be average at best. If Wings were in the East, we could play 50% and still dominate.

colorado has definately improved from last year..

now we dont play until thursday against the yotes so that will give the wings more time to rest up and hopefully pull out a W

This was a stupid loss no doubt, but remember, we didn't have Datsyuk or Franzen and we played solid for about 50 minutes. We made a real sloppy line change and had Lebda as one of our, well, like one and a half guys back and we unraveled. Yeah, it sucks. It's also the 7th game of the season. I'm not going to sweat it. Plenty of time to work out a complete game once we get Datsyuk back and by the time Franzen's back, well, you know. I still am taking a lot of positives from this game and I'm still not worried about Osgood. 3 goals on 29 shots for .896. This isn't exactly horrendous. Sure, he definitely wanted at least one of those back pretty bad, but eh, again, this wasn't even that ugly for a meltdown and it's the 7th game of the season. We'll be fine.

P.S. There's no shootouts in the playoffs. Only real hockey. Osgood will be fine.
