kylee 727 Report post Posted November 3, 2009 are the swine-flu infected d-men playing tonight? (joking about the swine flu part) lets see a solid team effort like last game. thatd make me feel more comfortable with this team. would absolutely love to see zetterberg get a goal (or two!) Guest mindfly Report post Posted November 3, 2009 (edited) If those flu players can't play they will lose easily but i think they will win if they have the same team and lines as calgary (don't think May/Leino matters much) "kylee" Don't count on it, Z will get around 23goals this year...he isn't a good goalscorer anymore. Casey 145 Report post Posted November 3, 2009 Mindfly's on crack, as usual. 26 goals for Z? You're nuts. As for the game, Ozzie stands on his head. 4-1 Wings, Z with 1, D with 1, Leino with 1 and Helm with the EN.
OsGOD 3 Report post Posted November 3, 2009 McCrimmon gets confirmed as a Positive piggy flu specimen and is thus shipped off to the feds for experimental testing... never to be seen again by metro detroiters! in other news... Wings! DON'T SUCK!

40#1Fan 0 Report post Posted November 3, 2009 http://www.mlive.com/redwings/index.ssf/20...enseman_do.html Red Wings recall defenseman Doug Janik from Griffins By Ansar Khan November 03, 2009, 10:52AM DETROIT -- The Detroit Red Wings have recalled defenseman Doug Janik from their AHL affiliate, the Grand Rapids Griffins. It appears Janik will replace Brian Rafalski in the lineup tonight against the Boston Bruins. Rafalski (flu) did not skate Tuesday morning. Jonathan Ericsson, who missed the last game because of the flu, also did not skate. Niklas Kronwall, who didn't practice Monday due to the flu, was skating Tuesday morning. Janik, 29, has a goal, five assists, 15 penalty minutes and a plus-4 rating in 10 games with the Griffins. He has three goals, 13 assists and 123 penalty minutes in 161 career NHL games with Buffalo, Tampa Bay, Dallas and Montreal.

Theophany 110 Report post Posted November 3, 2009 Madness? You know, I expected "THIS IS SPARTA!" jokes to get old after a while. But it's now three years later, and it's still hilarious. I foresee a Wings win at home. With so many guys out, we're starting to develop that sense of urgency.
