Theophany 110 Report post Posted November 26, 2009 3 short handed goals, moron, thats impressive for ANY team. And the fact you cant give any credit just proves you are a homer, period. Your next post is going to contain a "Detroit sucks" chant, isn't it? Don't worry, your team is good, but you're still an idiot.

Namingway 146 Report post Posted November 26, 2009 3 short handed goals, moron, thats impressive for ANY team. And the fact you cant give any credit just proves you are a homer, period. Sure I'll agree, that is impressive for any team. I wish the Wings could've gotten a couple SHG's tonight too but that's that. He does have a point though, you're welcome to come here and talk hockey all you want but don't expect us to be all loving and caring about you and your hawks players, especially on the night of an off game for the Wings. Many of us here respect the Hawks and their players but there are also many that don't, the same thing with any fan base. Especially when it comes down to other division rivals. If I were to go on a Hawks board then I'm sure I'd hear the same thing about our players. You're in Wings territory now. If you just want to hear us kissing your hawk ass then you're in the wrong place. Otherwise just learn to cope with it and stop whining. Cheers

ShanahanMan 473 Report post Posted November 26, 2009 Man o man....Hossa with a SH goal the day he comes back. Tough time to be a wings fan right now
Namingway 146 Report post Posted November 26, 2009 (edited) I still say he looked better in the Winged wheel Edited November 26, 2009 by Namingway
Tommy_Like_Wingy 25 Report post Posted November 26, 2009 Hossa just scored SH breakaway ! Sharp too.. 3 goals SH for Hawks, these f***s are unreal!! I cracked up when I read that. Anyway, I caught the highlights on NHL Network and it pretty much looks like the Sharks are having a flukey game and the Hawks are just punishing them for it. Two great teams facing off, something's gotta give.

under_par_00 45 Report post Posted November 26, 2009 These Hawks are putting a beatdown on the Sharks. Hossa has lit two lamps. 6-0 with over 10 minutes left!

edicius 3,269 Report post Posted November 26, 2009 2 goals......wow. I'm still telling myself we made the right decision though. I think. Right? Yeah....probably.... Considering how badly San Jose got beat overall, I wouldn't read too much into Hossa's debut performance with the Hawks, considering they had six different goal scorers tonight (Hossa, admittedly, being the only two-goal scorer). San Jose just had an awful, awful game. Put Hossa up against a team that's not having an off night and we'll probably be able to gauge where he's at more accurately. Miller Brew 0 Report post Posted November 26, 2009 2 goals......wow. I'm still telling myself we made the right decision though. I think. Right? Yeah....probably.... Franzen is playoff clutch. He's money. Holland made the right choice. 12 years for an aging Hossa is just wayyy too long....
Aussie_Wing 354 Report post Posted November 26, 2009 Franzen is playoff clutch. He's money. Holland made the right choice. 12 years for an aging Hossa is just wayyy too long.... Ahhh hate to break it to you but they're the same age. Not only that but Franzen has suffered a lot more injuries too.
Tommy_Like_Wingy 25 Report post Posted November 26, 2009 Damn ... why can't Hossa play for the Hawks like he did for us during the playoffs ... invisible. He's fixed now. I'd imagine he'll be playing better now that the guy can actually lift his arm above his shoulder. I still don't get why he gets ripped on for a "weak" playoff performance while he had a nagging injury but Datsyuk did worse and gets off scott free.

Carman 387 Report post Posted November 26, 2009 Playoff flop? What the hell are you talking about? Hossa is the same age and has comparable stats with 25 more games played than Franzen in the playoffs. Not to mention he is much more physical and can actually play on the PK. There is no way Franzen is better than Hossa. Salary included. Hossa almost has more points in one season than Franzen has in his whole career... Your blatant homerism is hilarious, Franzen is great, but Hossa that much better.

Z and D for the C 712 Report post Posted November 26, 2009 (edited) In goal scoring, the two may be even, but Hossa is better in every other category. And I'd also like to say that Hossa looked way happier to score his first as a wing than as a Blackhawk.
