Wings win, if they take the shot sooner! seriously can we set up a little longer, a little bit of a larger back swing, to just give the defenseman a chance to set up for the block or for the goalie to absorb the shot with his team logo! Is it me or is the team doing this more? All of their shots are coming from the blue line or the outer perimeter areas.

^THIS^ When the Blues shoot they have guys immediately come up around Howard. They set it up. When the Wings shoot, you are right. They don't set up anything. Nobody's screening. Nobody's moving to the net. They're just taking random shots and Mason has seen every one of them, except for a couple of angle shots.

Not only that, our guys are NOT moving the Blues from in front of Howard. Other than that....

I'm never going to jump ship whatsoever, but things are bad right now and we're in a major funk as a team. I know we'll get rollin', I just hope we can sneak into the playoffs at this point because scoring seems it will be a major issue with this team all year.

I don't care what Babs said about no trades. He was just talking tough to keep up what confidence is left o nthis team. If the team keeps sinking there WILL be trades, and big ones. Who do we have that is decent that would be the most replaceable? Keep in mind you have to give up talent to get talent, we have plenty of role players but not enough goal scorers, clearly.

Cleary for a pure 2nd line goal scorer from a team in need of a defensive, veteran forward? (Does he have a NTC?)

Howard for a proven backup from a team willing to take a risk on an unproven goalie but in need of youth and a future?

I can't really think of any other combos that would work.
