Murph was wrong. This was in no way a statement series. Chicago was expectd to beat Detroit pretty easily in this series, no way Detroit could match up with their depleted lineup against a full Chicago lineup. Detroit certainly didn't help with case with less than stellar play, but this was in no way a good matchup.

Yeah this feels really strange man.But with 9 regulars out.....what the f*** are you going to do? Can't do s***.And I hope the Blackhawks and their fans really realize what's going on here.Too many goal scorers missing from last year,you can't win games like this...bottom line.You can beat the garbage teams but when it comes time to play the better teams we won't be able to hang on.Oh well....gotta get used to this for a while.It's going to be weird if we miss the playoffs.
