Helm + Eaves= great.

Filppula created a heap of scoring chances that period.

Ritola looked very impressive and was rewarded with PP time and a shift with Flip.

Man, I feel like every Wings game this season has been about the opposition goaltender standing on his head and me wondering "will we every score a goal again??".

But Howard looks really good too.

Here you see the difference between Ozzie and Howard. Howard is usually sqared up for the shot while Ozzie tends to show more of the goal and can't get sqared up for 2nd shots. Here's hoping he continues to get better though.

Well, that's a legit complaint, what I was talking about is when he was moaning about Datsyuk taking too long to get set for a faceoff after an icing. Didn't look like anything out of the ordinary to me.

I've heard that he signed a 3yr with Vs. I've also heard he'll be on the NHL on NBC for the intermision reports during the Game of the Week.

He praises everybody constantly, which is his job as a commentator for nationally broadcast games (I switched to Monday Night Football during the intermission and I hear the same thing, slobbering over a QB that has the most interceptions in the NFL ), but he passive-aggressively gets his shots in saying stuff like "subtle interference," which is irritating.

My point remains, the Wings have as many viable shooters (even with the banged up roster) as Columbus does. You simply feed off negativity and are grasping at straws with each and every comment you make. Either that, or you want a reaction.
