At least the one thing that I'm sure that we can all agree on is that he's a better playoff performer than Crosby.

I wouldn't go that far. Crosby is one of the greatest playoff performers to ever play a sport, not to mention hockey. Hossa's not far off, but that's not a fair comparison. Crosby can only be compared to Gretzky, Jordan, Clemens, Tiger Woods, Ali etc.

Blues at Sharks tonight. Sharks with a gutsy comeback and Heatley scored on the break-away in OT (that guy is amazing). Wow, are those Sharks unstoppable or what! They have all the elements that other teams don't have and virtually have the best chance in the West to win the cup this year (if Detroit doesn't get injured players back and pull it back together in time).

*Goaltending

*Best offense in the entire NHL (best top-line in the NHL)

*Good D

*Solid coaching staff

As much as it hurts me to say this, I've also been very impressed with the Kings this year. West coast is very solid this year.

Needless to say, Blues are such a disappointment, they can't even help the Wings out by beating the Sharks (not that they'd ever have a chance anyhow) Lol.

I watched the Sharks and Hawks game. Sharks came off back to back games and had to fly to Chicago to play that night. They beat Chicago in true fashion and Huet let in like 4 goals on 9 shots. Your coach was out matched and Sharks won.

Stop you goddamn crying. Sharks are a better playoff team, deal with it.

Sharks D / Hawks D (I might give the edge to the Hawks, but Sharks have experience and leadership in Rob Blake)

McLellan > Quenneville (especially if Hawks play Wings in the post season - Wings have Q's number)

Get some goaltending, a little more experience, a better brass and a new head coach and get back to me... Oh, by then it'll be too late because your team is going to need to shed A LOT of salary next year to make up your brass's f#ckups. 1961

Your only reason for posting in this thread (that has absolutely nothing to do with San Jose), twice, was to take credit away from the Blackhawks and give credit to San Jose because you HATE the Blackhawks and cant stand when anyone is talking about them in a positive light. so I simply called you out on it.

And it is absolutely LAUGHABLE that you would say that San Jose is the better playoff team, when San Jose has a history of choking in the playoffs, which has been well documented on this very board. The Hawks finally make it back to the playoffs after a lot of years and what do they do? They go all the way to the conference finals. Thats pretty impressive for a young team, even though your homer ass cant give any credit to them because of your hate for the Blackhawks.

And Detroit might very well be the better team when healthy. Until we actually beat them in the playoffs you can say that all you want. However, just because Detroit has been to the playoffs what 19 staright seasons? Doesnt mean they get an automatic bid every year. Since the regular season doesnt mean much to Red Wing fans anymore, then you probably havent noticed that Detroit is 5 points behind 8th place. And true, they are starting to get healthy,but nothing is a gauranteed, and there are a lot of good teams in the West. So come talk to me when Detroit actually makes it to the playoffs, because you have to earn it, not get their because of your name.

I dont come here looking for Red Wing fans to approve and talk about how great the Hawks are, but when people like you pretty much dismiss them and say they are overrated and they dont pose any threat is downright laughable. you are a complete homer and excuse maker. Everytime the Blackhawks win, no matter how impressive of a win they have, you always come up with some lame excuse as to why they won.

You are the one that started this by talking about San Jose (when not another person in this thread even mentioned them) just to start s***. Why start a new thread to talk about the Blues and Sharks, and my ultimate observation of the game which resulted in my impression of the Sharks, since they (Heatley) won the game? Why are you here demanding Wings' fans to start a new thread on a Red Wings forum, and telling people what they can and cannot talk about in this Blues thread? Why do you post in our GDT when we play Blackhawks? Why don't Blackhawks have their own fan forum?
