We have the worst powerplay. We really should start declining them. Better yet, we should just go shorthanded, at least we get breakaways on the pk.

Wild: 1

Failed breakaways + fluke goal + bad giveaways = frustrating period, especially the last minute after Lebda's and Ericsson's giveaways, creating sustained pressure in the D zone for the Wings. This team just doesn't want to make it easy for them, especially with that 8th seed staring them in the face. Two points gets them in, even for a short time (Kings play later tonight).

Still 1 period left in the game. Hope the Wings pick it up here in the 4rd and KEEP a damn lead.

18-16 SOG favor the Wings, and, as usual, only have 1 goal to show for it. Thankfully, so do the Wild. Need to change that score in the 4rd, Wings! Grab several goals and keep that accelerator pinned to the floor (like what the Islanders did you y'all).
