Who do we put on the trading block?

If we become sellers, who does Holland put on the trading block at the deadline?

And don't flame me, it's a realistic and logical question.

The only good thing about the Wings losing games is laughing at all the terrible threads that pop up like 2 seconds after the final whistle.

We're not going to be out of the playoff picture by March.

Who do you suppose they would trade? Who's worth anything that can be traded? I don't see the Wings making any moves, they could trade someone like Williams, but what would be the point of that? Other then getting picks for someone like Leino or Williams, their is nothing the Wings can do. They don't have cap space. They don't have any big name who's on his way to UFA. Their is nothing they can do. We are stuck with this great team who's playing terribly, and it won't get any better through the trade deadline.

I dunno, I'd be cool with giving up some players to be used as "rentals" if they're planning on coming back to us next season (ie Keith Tkachuk). Homer is one name that comes to mind that would fit well there as well as give us some nice assets as well. Also, players we're planning on ditching anyway (like Lebda) could maybe generate SOMETHING.

Can't we quickly clone Darren Helm and put a bunch of #43's out there? Trade everyone else for draft picks, including the goalies. Just put six Helm's out there on the ice. The other team would never catch him or the puck.

You're right, we'll be out by February.... AND the trade deadline. All seson long we've heard "no panic, don't panic, we don't need anyone..." blah blah blah. when do we panic?

When we're out of the playoff picture. I'm not blaming everything on injuries, but we have to see what this team has when everyone is healthy. There is no need to panic right now, teams in much worse positions than us have fought their way into the playoffs before.

lebda, meech, filpula(depending on who it gets us ),rights to hudler, stuart same as filpula, rafalski maybe.

everybody is tradeable minus(datsyuk, franzen, zetterberg, lidstrom and maybe holmstrom)

i'd like to see the wings get a guy like loui eriksson (1.5 cap 21G 27A 52GP)

that would give dallas a little something more down the middle and especially since modano could be near the end.

maybe send filpula(3mill),the rights to hudler even, and pick from lebda, meech, lieno, and or picks. he would be a great fit in D big guy RW and can put the puck in the net and not to mention swedish lol. just a thought!

holmstrom-datsyuk-eriksson

cleary-zetterberg-franzen

williams-abdelkader-bertuzzi

draper-helm-eaves

not in line-up

maltby,may,leino,filppula

anyways just a little idea id like to see the wings do something, a little bit of a shake up maybe thats what they will need to get them going.

I hope we trade Filppula to the penguins. That way when I become a Pens fan I'll be able to watch one of the greatest younger up-and-comers in the league.

Sorry Penguins wouldn't want a bad player on their great team.
