These players appear to have no desire whatsoever of making the playoffs. Why should we be optimistic about them when they're not trying? It's hard to have sympathy for a team with so much talent that doesn't show up at home in a critical game, against a depleted defense playing in back to back nights. f*** this team. Kronwall looks atrocious tonight and is directly responsible for 4 goals in the back of our net. If we can't right the ship while sitting in 8th with a quarter of the season left and being fully healthy, the management is going to have to take a serious look at the makeup of the team in the off-season. We've had great goaltending for much of the year with Howard and still lost plenty of games. Why? SCORING! It's easy to look at a game like this and get on the goalies, but it's a silly thing to do when 18 other guys on the bench aren't coming even close to pulling their weight. A Datsyuk punch and a Kronwall elbow, neither was really anything anyways. They better be ready for Nashville, or we're getting blown out again. That 3 game set could make or break the playoff run for them. Nice goal by Franzen though. He's on fire since his return.
