I laughed so hard out loud when I heard that, and then replayed it to see if I heard that for sure, only to laugh harder the second time. I kept hearing that guy during the period. I believe it's only if it's aimed at the refs and is critical of them. IIUC, it is permissible to say, "Hey, ref, f***ing nice day, isn't it?" but not "You are an ignoramus incapable of finding parts of the female anatomy which you possess in place of male organs, which is why you got the job as a ref: you are the copulation target for Campbell and all of his friends."
