we are very disappointed here that no one saw fit to add an insurance goal in regulation. Better step it up in OT. I am too tired for a freak'n shoot out tonight. Damn.

Jimmy's gonna want this game back. .850 SV% after 60 minutes. Can't fault him on the first goal, however. Second goal was a matter of not hugging the post. Third was a gift rebound.

Howard was coming off an injury when he returned to play this stretch of games. While not the busiest schedule, he likely could've used a bit more rest than he's been able to take lately. Games like this happen. It'll be good to get Osgood back to give Jimmy a quick break and balance things out again. I'm not going to hold this game against him in the meantime.

Agreed. Certainly not his best game, but not his worst one either.
