Been watching a stream of the Stars broadcast, and I have to say their announcers are actually very good. Enthusiasm without going overboard, and while of course pulling for the Stars they are definitely giving the Wings a lot of credit as well. I believe late in the second there they were talking about how Lids should be mentioned in the Sid vs. Ovi "best player in the league" discussions.

Which can be said on easily a dozen or so calls against him in the past 3 or 4 years. Reputation alone is usually enough to get one like that called back.

You're right. He didn't do anything wrong, but that hasn't stopped the refs before...

I agree with you. It's just that the way the goalie fell when the puck went it can surely make it difficult to make a split second decision if the ref isn't watching that particular area. Luckily, he was.

Razor Reaugh gets on my nerves after awhile, but I'd take the Stars crew over LA, Anaheim, or SJ's any day of the week.

That said, I have the game playing in HD on my TV, and have drumnj's stream playing on the MacBook. Spent a few seconds syncing them up, and voila! Ken and Mickey making the calls on my HDTV!

Impressive! Me, I have LGW on my main monitor, drum's stream on my secondary monitor (fullscreen) and then my laptop at my left authoring DVDs. Oh yeah, I also have a HDD dock in front of me with a 2TB drive loaded in it, copying files over for my XBMC box.
