You can find me in sec. 217c row 13. I will be the amazingly awesome drunk dude in the Lidstrom jersey. Yep that narrows it down doesn't it?? wink.gif

Howard needs to shake his funk. Quickly.

I hope so to, I love this kid and hate to see people down on him...Up side is WHEN he comes out of this funk he'll come out a better goalie.

What's your drink(s) of choice at a hockey game?

My normal drink at the games are the tall Molsons. Don't normally steer myself away but I will even start off with a Triple X just get the feeling right lol.

When is Pavel ready to go?

Datsyuk, Holmstrom still out

Forwards Pavel Datsyuk and Tomas Holmstrom won't be ready for tonight's game and might miss Saturday's game in Nashville as well.

mlive

Somewhat (and I mean somewhat) funny they put an emphasis on allowing fewer goals.... Well no s***, boys. Lock it down! And ffs Jimmy, stop flopping!!!

I've yet to see the Wings win when I drink Molson at the Joe. You better have better luck with that. :sly:

Yeah, its mostly due to the selection at the Joe. Molson is quite delicious and Miller Lite is honestly my least favorite beer on the planet. I will have EVERY drink in that place before I disrespect my liver to consume that panther piss. I mean they do have Sam Adams and other beverages at that Hockeytown Bar thing but it's like a tiny plastic cup for 7 bucks, nah.

Just get tanked before the game. Drinking beer at the Joe just means a 30 minute wait in the bathroom line :hehe:

I hope the Wings keep them to a couple goals at the most tonight. The D needs to tighten up and Howard needs to get his groove back.

No I know. But drinking and hockey are just a guarantee for me. Actually the bathroom lines have improved immensely over the last few years. Nothing like when I was a kid back in the day and it was a guarantee to miss a good portion of the next period if you went at intermission. Paying more is also a bad thing for me as well lol. So it isn't a terrible idea, I will usually pound a couple at Nemo's.

Not to get off topic, but how is the pre/post game crowd at Nemo's. I'm always at the Old Shillelagh before and after, but I'm always looking for a change of scenery.

To keep it on topic, Wings wing 3-1. I think Babcock probably chewed out the D and Howie after Ottowa, hopefully it'll light a fire under their asses :yowza:

It is actually pretty good. Pre is better than post game. Shillelagh is much more geared to the younger crowd with the music and atmosphere. I actually go there more for post game but seeing how tonight it will be like -2 degrees I don't see myself walking much. Nemo's it is.

Also to not derail (my apologies) but pre/post game hangouts are a must on a GDT imo. Since I am going I will not post a prediction but I am hoping for a real strong game from the boys back on the blue line. Keep up the good work Kindl!

I was a little surprised to see his GAA is still below 3... to quote Buddy the Elf, "That's shocking!"

Wasn't the Nabokov signing intended to do that?

If we give up 3+ goals again, I'm going to be very displeased. But not totally surprised either.

Almost reminds me of the 08-09 season. Sub-par defense all year and yet still continued to win by outscoring the opponent.
