I honestly don't mean to be a downer, but anyone else think that the refs were ... well kinda favorable towards the Wings tonight? Or maybe they're aware of previous bias toward the Sharks, and are suffering guilt, or more likely, told to extend the series to get more TV revenue??

As it happened, the PP didn't really decide it anyway... but just wondering what everybody else thought?

Avoided the brooms..nice

At least we can take consolation that this year wasn't worse than last year, officially. If the Wings can win Game 5, it'll officially be a slight more successful year than last year!

Boston has a hot chick on there intermission staff...much better looking than Murph.

I believe Kathryn Tappen is her name. They also have another hot chick for their baseball team

I noticed, too. The environment was definitely friendly to the Wings. They better be ready because it won't be that way for three more straight games.

Yep, that's her. Can we trade York for her?

All kinds of things to learn from this game, methinks.

When the Wings bring it, they win. They can beat anybody.

I saw no diving (at least that they got away with), we got the break on the calls, and thusly and therefore, the naysayer/negative nancies can pretty much stick it with their conspiracy theories.

The crowd was GREAT - especially at the end of the game.

The Wings can do this. There were stretches tonight where they looked absolutely spectacular. I AM SO DAMN PROUD OF THEM.

BELIEVE!!

If you were in the crowd tonight

You kept roaring and stayed standing when they looked out of gas and the last 4 minutes of the game the Wings tilted the ice and the fans got louder and the Helm goal blew the lid off the place. Car alarms were going off in Windsor...

Thanks, just wondering whether I'm imagining things. It's logical that some of these second round series' be extended (especially since Tampa went 4-0, and Boston are 3-0)

Not that I'm complaining, but yeah. It'll be a different story in game 5, no doubt.

and yeah, about time too.

Seriously?

Does Babcock trust the other 5 clowns more than him defensively?

Not to rip on Salei or Ericsson, but I see them out there way more than someone like Lidstrom, Rafalski, or Stuart. I think he was paired with Kronwall, but I can't recall. Doesn't make sense to me.

Combination gritty and pretty win. Lots of things to take as positives from this game.

Good to see the Wings continue to compete even after Heatley tied the game. Would have been easy for doubt to start creeping in. Leave it to the fearless Darren Helm to give hope to the Hockeytown faithful.

no, go ahead. they are both awful. the 2nd and 3rd sharks' goals were both salei's screw-ups. and ericsson is just a bowlful of wrong.
