My hubby, who is from Boston, is staving off a massive freakout by sheer force of will. It's going to be crazy here if they win! :)

Don't forget, they've played the whole playoffs without their best forward.

Marc Savard.

Their depth is incredible, and they had a great trade deadline.

Some humerous stuff in the HFBoards Canucks GDT. One guy just said they shoudl torch the place.

Whats the biggest story here in tomorrow's Vancouver papers? The Sedins suck when things are most important, or that Luongo isn't worth what they pay him?

The first 5 pages of the paper will be devoted to the game no less.

Luongo will probably be the most blamed person.

I'm glad Detroit isn't in the finals. Boston would destroy them. Peaverly and Lucic are playing great. Thomas is a champ. Can't believe they're the best team in the league.

Didn't the Wings beat them in back to back games with a couple of injured players? :siren:

I wonder how many people will refuse to shake Burrows' hand.

If anybody here lives in Vancouver, and currently has a car parked on the street, I advise you to move it swiftly.

Haaaaa

There is going to be a riot in Vancouver tonight either way. Either they pull and absolutely EPIC come back and they riot, or they can't come back and... they riot anyway.

Thats true.

HFboards are full LOLs right now

oh come on... admit you're just another Sindy hater...

Well, I never denied that.

I'd like to see Boston score one in the first 5 of this period.

Luongo will probably be the most blamed person.

Probably rightfully so, though. He plays one game in Boston like he played the first two in Vancouver and this doesn't even make it to 6, much less 7.

Maybe a little niave but I think that high stick no call could have changed the entire shape of this game.

You guys must be mistaken my statement. See my reply lower down if this didn't make it clear.

Boston foolishly never played that like a normal powerplay.

Instead of trying to score, they were just cycling it around like there's only 2 minutes left.

No doubt there shoulda been a call on Chara, but what an idiotic retaliation penalty to take.

I don't mind. I don't like being this hateful vindictive person but.... sooo glad at the results of this game so far. The Canucks deserve a loss here sooo much.

Still plenty of hockey left, Bruins better keep up the good work. They're playing great right now.

Boston has been dirty in the series and the ref calling isn't picking it up. Canucks are pissed and his anger got the best of him.

I agree 100% that the retaliation was uncalled for and cheap. The point I was making is if the no call had actually been called, I think the game could be completely different with a 4 min PP. I'm not saying they would have scored twice but they would have had 4 min to try. Vancouver is just a bunch of sore losers and they are pissed they are getting beat in their own place.
