Travis 576 Report post Posted June 23, 2011 I really like the Geocities-style 'COMING SOON' next to Winnipeg. 4 and 5 days off in the first two weeks of the season again. Bum out.
Datsyukian-Deke 722 Report post Posted June 23, 2011 (edited) I We have Buffalo, Philadelphia, and Washington twice. All other East + WPG teams once. I would much rather see the hated penguins at the joe than any other Eastern Conference team. there is nothing more fun than ripping on poor crosby fans Edited June 23, 2011 by Datsyukian-Deke
legaleaglewingsfan 75 Report post Posted June 23, 2011 This makes me a bit sad that there is no PIT in JLA. Guess I gotta roadtrip there and stir some trouble.
NeverForgetMac25 483 Report post Posted June 23, 2011 14 sets of backtoback games.....WTF! Did you check the league average? 14 doesn't seem terrible compared to the 17 we had one of these past few years. I.E. I just looked up NYR and they've got 13 B2B's. Majsheppard 203 Report post Posted June 23, 2011 4 and 5 days off in the first two weeks of the season again. Bum out. Did you notice how after the time off went away, the injuries poured in? Doesn't look good for us.
evilmrt 636 Report post Posted June 23, 2011 I really like the Geocities-style 'COMING SOON' next to Winnipeg. I also give a big thumbs up to Chicago being the Wings only Original Six visitor...the whole season. Yeah, re-alignment please.
Datsyukian-Deke 722 Report post Posted June 24, 2011 Yea I dont really get bettmen. He is all about revenue and yet the Wings can't get a home an away game with each original six game when those games obviously bring much more media attention than playing columbus a million times. chances14 227 Report post Posted June 24, 2011 this is a pretty crappy schedule for JLA. no original 6 teams outside chicago coming to detroit and not even the penguins.

I bet if you caught him on the right day, he wouldn't even be able to name the Original 6 off the top of his head. 1 Datsyukian-Deke reacted to this

Travis 576 Report post Posted June 24, 2011 I know that Canadian teams are off limits, but Detroit / Toronto would make for an awesome atmosphere.

But I bet if you asked him what the top 5 grossing teams were he would know them like the back of his hand.

Dimaline312000 51 Report post Posted June 24, 2011 I'm just glad to see the Wings Open and Close the Regular Season at Home!! I'd don't know why but I'm very supersticious about that. Didn't that happen in 07/08 or am I mistaken??

Krystal 41 Report post Posted June 24, 2011 So.. I'm living in Kansas City (we're getting a Pens/Kings preseason game.. blech) but my husband said we can make the drive to Colorado for our anniversary to see the Wings/Avs game on the 8th of October. Anyone living out that direction have any suggestions on where to go or stay? I've never been to Denver, and my husband's only really been there in passing through the airport on business.
