I don't remember this hit, but from the sounds of it, it was a hit in a hockey game that resulted in injury. Nothing intentional, no stick swinging.. and yet, the MTL police have decided to investigate the hit and make a decision on pressing charges.

I still think this is an arena issue. Why is there glass sticking out like that in Montreal and not in other arenas? Players have only a split second to make a decision, so all arenas playing surfaces should be the same.
