TheXym 2,606 Report post Posted December 18, 2011 Great backhand by Zetterberg. Fear the Zetterbeard. The Wings management should prohibit him from shaving down to the mustache for Movember next year since as soon as the beard was back he started playng like the Hank we all know and love. Cevari 68 Report post Posted December 18, 2011 That behind-the-goal camera is one funky view. Am I crazy or is this new? I feel like I've never seen it before, though could just be I've never seen it used so long at once.

I feel like I've never seen it before, though could just be I've never seen it used so long at once. I've seen it before, but not for that long, just a few seconds. I really like it on the PP though as you get a really nice overview of the full offensive zone.
Heroes of Hockeytown 694 Report post Posted December 18, 2011 nice shift z!! No surprise, he starts playing well again (thank you Flip!) along with Pavel and the Wings are scoring a hundred goals every night.

GMRwings1983 8,804 Report post Posted December 18, 2011 This is too easy. LA just looks like a team that has no desire to compete. You'd think a coaching change would have fired them up. They're dead right now.

Interim coach = lame duck. They are coachless waiting till Tues's announcement. Some arses are going to be kicked in LA. Plus an interim coach with the new coach already hired to replace him is effectively castrated behind the bench. Edited December 18, 2011 by TheXym

Isn't he still on LA's payroll for being let go ...
Z and D for the C 712 Report post Posted December 18, 2011 No points for Filppula, when almost everyone else has. Heh, he's the only forward without one. He's cooled off a bit lately. You can tell he's trying, but he isn't really making plays. I'm sure things will be back to normal soon. 1 Aussie_Wing reacted to this

He's a horrible GM, but he's a good coach. Took a Calgary team with no talent.. I repeat no talent, to the Cup finals. We'll see if his style can still work 5 years later, at the very least he'll kick some ass on that team. But LA can go f*** themselves, Ericsson needs to crosscheck Westgarth in the teeth. I think that time was pretty telling regarding his hockey mindset. Now that he's back behind the bench he's going to feel like he has to prove something, which definitely means boot camp from hell for the Kings as he tries to erase the debacle of his GM stint from the collective minds of hockey fandom. He was a miserable SOB before his GM stint. Life in the Kings' locker room is going to suck hard in the very near future.
