This team really pisses me off anymore. How have we become so bad on defense? How are we caught with our pants down it seems ALL THE TIME in our own zone? Not getting the pucks out, always in a scramble?
Tired of it.
We aren't doing anything this playoff. 1 and done. We suck on the special teams (odd for the wings), we can't clear pucks in our own zone...my God man...

Tootoo does NOT belong on this team. He is classless and I would rather see the Wings be bad than classless. I feel the same way about Bertuzzi as well, but he at least CAN make the team better. With Tootoo the team becomes worse and in danger of being classless. Would you have liked Claude on the team? Or Roy? No. So why would you be okay with that POS.

To be fair, have you seen our last 60 PPs?
Oh yeah and I know they've been brutal on special teams. Just don't agree with what the poster said about tanking and that we aren't going anywhere. Playoffs are a whole new beast.

This team looks awful.
Kenny is going to take this one in the grill. He did nothing to make this team better at the deadline and it is really hurting them right now.

I think we as long time wings fans have to realize that the parity in the league has caught everyone up, or lowered the wings, to a very similar level of play.
The wings are in the top 10 teams in the league, but the discrepancy between teams 1 and 10 is very little anymore.
As a fan that got to see the great teams in the 90s I'm honestly annoyed that we can't stack a team and kick some ass anymore.

I agree, but as a whole this team looks bad. From Lidstrom on down. Without the Lidstrom super hero we are used to our D core sucks.
