Game 7 of SCF would be on June 28th. Playoffs start Apr 28th-May 1st

 

Looks like in 1995, game 4 of the SCF was played on June 24th.  

 

So that's about the same.

any news on fsd? I'm sure they will cover games too right? I don't see anyone covering the 19th game in st lousis... We will hear tomorrow maybe? Can't they start tomorrow lol, I miss hockey so much

22 National TV games- 11 on NHLN-US, 11 on NBC/SN

The 11 games on NHLN-US are tough for me. I have NBCSN and I will have Gamecenter, but my cable company doesn't carry NHLN-US.

 

The Wings have a tough schedule on paper. 7th most miles traveled and tied for most back-to-back games.

Not one scheduled game against the East.

As tough as the Central Division was last season, it's going to be a grind getting into the playoffs.

 

More games against the East would have helped.

Not saying that games in California will be easy but it'd be hard to beat NY, Boston or Philly on the road anyways.

I can see why there was a hint of the League wanting a fifty-game schedule.
