Can I trade Mike Reilly for Ryan O'Reilly?

Bob McKenzie: The haven’t been any substantive talks between the Avalanche and Ryan O’Reilly’s camp about a contract extension. He will be a UFA after next season. The Avalanche love him as a player, but they may not be able to or may not want to pay him market value. They need defensemen and McKenzie has always assumed they would trade him.

More of a feeling than a fact.

Reilly is a defenseman. Avs need D. ....hmmm. lol.

Step 1: sign Mike Reilly

Step 2: trade for Ryan O'Reilly

Step 3: profit?

It would give Redmond a heart attack trying to call the game.

Reilly to Reilly to franzen to franson to Smith and Smith takes it from his brother

Ryan O'Reilly's beard > Mike Reilly

*gustos in E_T's direction*

You can gusto in my general direction all you want young lady. It doesn't change the fact that if we got both oreilly and reilly and then got franson and somehow added Smith, and then drank a few ginger als that the games would be wildly entertaining.

*gusto right back at your face*
