I recommend 6 weeks of immobilization and then rehab. Source: I graduated from the Ho Chi Minh City School of Medicine online in 2021. So this is good, was worried it was ACL. That connects to bones at both ends. It would be a tendon if there was a superior and inferior, separated by muscle. But if they are considering it one fiber, it should be a called a ligament.
