Out goaltendered. But you still can't give up 4 goals. I know one was an EN, but it's sad that a 37 year old Goalie is our best option. Also the D still isn't good at all. Need to make a deal to upgrade the D. It's only 3 games in, but there hasn't been too much positive to look forward to.

If they're going to rotate goalies, they may as well just promote Cossa and get him 30to40 nhl games. He might become a starter or worse case he is a good backup to Talbot. 35 games at the NHL level is better than sharing AHL starts with 4 other goalies. Keep husso down there, swap Lyon for Cossa.

The 3rd goal was a backbreaker. We had been outplaying them for about 10 minutes before that goal. Then we took the penalty and they scored right away. Totally took the wind out of our sails. I really liked out game last night and didn't think the score indicated how well we played. If we play like that most nights we'll win...unless we're playing Shesterkin.

Motte-Veleno-Berggren has been quite a surprise. They've been generating quality offense for a couple games now.

Id rather see Mazur-Kasper-Berggren.

Edvinsson-Holl has been our best d pair the last 2 games imo.

Johansson has looked good too.

Totally agree, I’m just saying that I haven’t hated that line so far. Obviously I’d rather it be better, particularly at finishing, but at least they’re playing in the offensive zone.

Get Edvinsson and Seider with non-TRASH, and they will excel.  We have a stupid GM and a stupid coach who think Chiarot and Petry are good.

Chiarot isnt terrible but playing way over his head. As a 3rd pair d I think hed be serviceable. Petry sucks. Holl is and has been better for over a year now despite the mis-usage.

I'm a little torn on Chiarot because he doesn't have a total lack of skill for hockey in general.  He just is not a good defenseman in his own end.  He doesn't get it.  But when he plays in the offensive zone, he looks really good usually.  So it's frustrating to see a coach and GM who can't recognize/admit that they missed on the value of him at signing time, but can recoup some value by moving him to the 4th line.  Not sure why they need to sign guys like Motte and Fischer when you have Chiarot that's super capable of filling that role.
