McAwesome 754 Report post Posted February 6, 2010 We have to have a strong start to this game, we've given up the first goal in 3 straight. As hot as the Kings have been lately, we cannot afford to fall behind early.
FunkedUp 29 Report post Posted February 6, 2010 Flames won last night. We need to keep pace.
Doc Holliday 1,888 Report post Posted February 6, 2010 Detroit will win this game, go on a 4 game winning streak and make the 7th spot by the end of the season. This game will be a turning point for the Wings, and I have no doubt in my mind.

dat's sick 1,002 Report post Posted February 6, 2010 Must win, must win, must win, must win. We've been badly outplayed the the Kings when we've faced them this season. That can't happen again. They're on a winning streak and we need to stop them. 6-1 Wings.

VladyIBELIEVE16 257 Report post Posted February 6, 2010 Well after yesterday's practice (Jack Johnson was there watching the Wings practice the entire time too - just as he was in January) Babcock ran a much stricter more aggressive practice than I've seen in the past. I've been to a handful or so of them out here. Towards the end Bertuzzi was running a drill with Pavel - he was all over him and Pavel still made it out with the puck! It was awesome (pictures are available if you click the link in my signature). Babcock was ALL business yesterday. At any rate the hockey gods were very kind to me last night and at 10:35 I landed a ticket to go to this game. I can't wait!!

Wings NEED THESE 2 POINTS ...........AGAIN!!!! Lets hope they get it in gear. I think they have been tanking. so they can be ready for the Olympics.... then once they are over.... BOOM we finish 5th. ( Im kidding of course about the tanking thing ) Go Wings!!! Good Luck Guys!
Firehawk 305 Report post Posted February 6, 2010 I'd like to be opimistic about the Wings, but every time they have a big win they suck a few games after that. I will say we lose in OT at best. I'm sorry, but I am losing confidence that they will make it. They ran a train on SJ and when they had a great opportunity to start moving up, they lost to Anaheim, a very beatable team. I don't know. I'm just trying to keep on an even keel. All season it's been "they look like they're returngin to their old selves" one game, then the next they suck. GSBrooks13 204 Report post Posted February 6, 2010 Am I the only one getting tired of seeing the Wings constantly crawl back into the playoffs and then fall right back out?.. I mean seriously.. its time to put some damn games together.. this win one, lose one, win one, lose two thing is going to result in a whole lot of golf come playoff time. It's time to see some wins put together, and I have to think they know that in the locker room. My Prediction: Wings 4 - Williams, Lidstrom, Datsyuk, Helm Kings 2 - Frolov, Stoll Let's Go Wings! 55fan 5,133 Report post Posted February 6, 2010 LOL, no it's time for an overtime loss brotha... No, Babcock figured out that his "play a full 60 minutes" speech was the problem. He is now giving a "play a full 65+shootout if needed" speech. That should do the trick. Trust me.
syntax 359 Report post Posted February 6, 2010 Here's hoping LA cools of tonight and we play like we did against the Sharks. If not, this may be an ugly game.

Vladifan 680 Report post Posted February 6, 2010 We Can Do This!! ...OK, the Wings can do this. Actually, I will do my usual yelling, cursing, praying at my hockey god altar, eating tortilla chips and salsa, jumping up and down and generally driving everyone else out of the room Thing. Hey, it's the very least I can do for my team.
