Please list some of the players who were brain damaged as a result of blindside head-hits durring the era before the instigator rule was thought up. It isn't about relatiation, it's about respecta and prevention, and for the most part it worked. That's change I can believe in!

Detroit is 5 points away from 7th place, so it looks like they will MOST LIKELY be the 8 seed in the West. Now San Jose on the other hand is first place in the West with 96 points. They are currently on a three game losing streak and are only 2 points ahead of second place Chicago and 3 points ahead of Phoenix (seriously). Now I'm not saying that they are doing that, but I do know if I was a coach, I would not want to play the Red Wings in the first round.

Oh how soon we forget. Osgood WAS amazing in the playoffs the past two post seasons. No one can deny that. Even moreso last postseason and had we won he would of been MVP.

Never!!! It's personal for me. I have had nothing but s*** Flames fans harass me because I'm a Wings fan. I used to hate the Leafs and leaf fans until I moved here and realized that I would rather be around Leaf fans. One of my friends is a Flames fan also but I have found that if they don't know you, they treat you like s***. Went to Edmonton earlier this season and their fans were great. A little ribbing but all in good fun. Went to the Flames vs. Wings game a couple days later and Flames fans are just pricks. I even got punched by a chick once at the Dome for saying Kipper stole the game. Friendly crowd. Gotta love'em. Fans since 2004! Edit: Look at my avatar. That is what my face looks like right now. That's how I feel about Flames fans.

I have an idea for you ... stop watching NHL games, and stop attending NHL games. In fact stop posting on NHL-related Web sites. Stop supporting NHL in anyway, then maybe owners and players will realize your dissatisfaction and change the rules so you won't have to endure another NHL shootout.

My father's first language is Swedish and when watching the games with him, he always pronounces Franzen as, "Frahn-zaeyn". There is an accent over the "e", which I also have in my last name, effecting the pronunciation. The funny thing is, in February, I was at a tequila bar in San Jose, on the night before the SJ/Red Wings game, and Franzen walked in and sat next to me at the bar. Admittedly being a little tipsy, I totally remember boasting to him that we had the same "e with an accent over it" type of last name, and asked him if Franzen was pronounced "Frahn-zaeyn", which he adamantly contended. We then had a *random as hell* conversation about the band The Offspring.

No, the trade deadline is for trades. Waivers is applicable until the day after the regular season or thereabouts IIRC. Regardless, nothing changes after March 3 with regards to call-ups.

It seems you're oblivious to how hypocritical you're being. I, as well as others have found a way to ignore you and allow you to continue on with your incessant whining all over this board about any and all things as irritating as it is.
