Kinda weird how these nothing goalies always seem to play as Superman against Detroit.

The last 15 seconds of the game they play like they kind of want to win. What about the rest of the game? Something needs to change.

I know hockey is a very physically demanding sport, but do we need to start questioning their strength and conditioning coaches? I can't see any reason why athletes as well-conditioned as they are, having such a disturbing lack of energy in back-to-back games. I mean, this is bordering on absurd.

Clutterbuck needs his skates inspected, just in case he accidentally skates around on a banana peel. Otherwise, he had spent that shift trying to draw penalties by falling all over the ice.

There's no way Harding can SHUT us OUT. Minnesota will never get a SHUTOUT against Detroit. In case anyone didn't know Harding is in line for a SHUTOUT if nothing changes

If the Wings continue losing, Babcock should have them scrimmage against Grand Rapids. Maybe a little "tough love" is what the Wings need.

He never said Cleary sucks. He said Cleary hasn't looked good in a while, but I guess it's easier to mock him when you put words in his mouth. And all the qualities you listed about Cleary are what would make him valuable trade material. Due to his fearless style of play, he is injury prone and at 32 years old probably doesn't have a lot of years left in him. I wouldn't want to get rid of him, but it's not outrageous to at least discuss trading him. In the past people would make ridiculous trade suggestions, trying to dump the Wings garbage in return for other team's quality players. Now he gets s*** for suggesting trading someone who might actually have value to another team?

Howard's wife has had a baby. Last year, Ozzie's wife had a baby. The last time Conks was here, his wife had a baby. Solid proof that even if you f*** around, Detroit will bring out the best in you.

The reaction is pretty predictable... We are 5-2, no reason for panic, etc. I'm not satisfied with the quality of hockey not with the current record. If this team is not going to change somehow (via trades or changing mentality) during the year we will see yet another 2nd round exist. Red Wings have all the skill in the world. What the current roster lacks is some determination and willingness to win. We saw it twice in a row with San Jose when we simply forgot to start competing until it was 0-3. And yes uninspired play translates to the play-offs.
