3 pointsIf he gets another 1 year ruling next offseason, he’d be an unrestricted free agent the following year. He’ll be 26. I’d bet on him having more than 3-4 good seasons left if he keeps going to arbitration until he hits UFA at 26 years old.

Not at all. Goalies are too flakey and the difference between good and bad is not enough to justify spending that much. -

1 point...and if they're playing or on LTIR there is no "navigating" the cap space. It's either available or it isn't. The only navigating of the cap space at this point would be if either Kronner or Z decided to actually hang them up and NOT go on LTIR. (Which is very very unlikely)

Had to bump this up due to the re-signing of our RFA's (sans Larkin.) I think Holland has done a pretty good job at getting Mantha and AA (Bertuzzi and Frk as well) signed to team friendly "bridge" deals, lets hope the comments by Larkin ring true and they can get something done that also allows the team to be very active and flexible come next July (which will lead me to the 2019 rebuild thread...segue)
