people change....

They do, but that's normal. Some times people change for the better sometimes people change for the worse. Its all in who's eyes you are looking through.

So...my friend invited this guy friend over earlier this evening/yesterday, and she went to bed a couple hours ago, and the guy is still here!! I left the main room for a while, and glanced out and he's still here! Watching TV! And expects ME to entertain him! And even though I feel obligated to act as hostess for anyone at my place of residence, I keep hinting that I'm tired, and he's still here!! WTF mate???

Over the last 6-8 weeks a group of us "students" had to do a proposal for a pilot study. I ended up finding 95% of the evidence based articles. The group wanted to meet on numerous occasions and well, they ended up cancelling, changing the times, and etc. We also has to create a poster for "research day" (it was optional, but you would get 5 extra points by doing it). I bought all the supplies and etc, I am out over $100 dollars which no one else decided to "chip in."

Well, we ended up doing the poster 2 days before it was due. The one girl could not meet up due to taking care of her family dog. So I ended driving 40 miles one way to this other girls apartment. After 6 hrs of working on it, it was not finished and she said she needed a break. I said, that is fine, take a break, but we are finishing this tonight. It took a total of 7 hrs to do it, but it was done. I could tell she wanted me to leave due to her cues, but I was getting tired of all this "we can do it a different day" and doing it at the last minute is not my thing.

We ended up getting 100% on the presentation, proposal, and won 1st place for research day. Prize was $100 dollars. The one girl took the check, cashed it, and gave me my portion. They never did throw in their share for supplies.

Your situation is different. You should of just been straight forward with him after 1-2 times of being polite. It is time you go home.

I realize now I should have just pushed him out the door, and I probably should edit that ranting post, but it's already been quoted :P I was trying to be nice to her friend....she told me today that his main flaw is that he never knows when to leave <_< Thanks for the warning haha.

LMAO. She left you out to dry like the CBJ's defense did to Mason. I truly feel sorry for ya, I do. You were trying to be nice, but sometimes people do not get the message of "expression."

Do not edit your ranting post, it it funny to be honest. I am just giving you another side to your situation because I found it to be somewhat similar. Your friend and you should "have a talk."

For some foot notes, the faculty (professors) know I funded our project and did a lot. All that matters.

Gist of it, nice people get effed over like no tomorrow. My back hurts from people walking all over me. People being considerate is on the endangered species list I think.

Thats kind of funny.......sorry but it is.

I had a similar experience though. Only it was with one of my roommates. I have an Xbox and he was in me and my bros room (we share one, damnit!) playing call of duty. started playing at like 9pm. Fastforward till like 2AM and he is still playing that damn game. My brother and I had class the next morning and here he is sitting in front of the tv playing Call of Duty. Seriously? for 5 hours straight.

I really dislike my roommate........
