I'm pretty sure everyone here realizes that Holland would not give up that much for Tkachuk or Guerin and neither will any other team. Therefore I think it's pretty safe to assume that everyone on here THINKS that if a deal were to happen that the price has definitely been lowered.

I think the Carter to Carolina for a 5th trade is going to lower the overall value. After reading what some teams want for their UFA (Top prospect and a 1st), I was shocked to hear Carolina got Carter for a 5th.

I am pretty sure we get no one at the deadline.

I am also pretty sure we make no big moves next summer, as Dats and his agent keep Kenny busy all summer.

Just my opinion.

Personally, I wouldn't mind getting one of those two players as they do address a huge hole in our lineup. however it takes more than a single sandbag to stop a flood.
