YoungGuns1340 1 Report post Posted March 11, 2007 These announcers are talking like they are assholes. Claiming Malts was attempting a dive (in which he was tripped) and ignoring the fact that the Boston player, yes he was bumped, threw himself into the goal. And great, we are getting a penalty. Maybe the wings are getting all their badness out for the Nashville series this week. These announcers are terrible. They're acting like Chara and Thomas are gods. That says enough about how intelligent they are.
Vincanni 1 Report post Posted March 11, 2007 That was probably the worse effort i've seen our team do collectively on that goal.

datsyukismyfriend 4 Report post Posted March 11, 2007 OMG, this game feels like that Flyer game. Just ugly. We miss Hank...and Cleary and Mule and Markov and whoever else is out. we had all of them for the flyers game.

terri27 0 Report post Posted March 11, 2007 Man that sucks! Dom had no chance-couldn't see where the puck was let alone where it was going.

Offsides 21 Report post Posted March 11, 2007 Thank you. It's nice to know I'm not the only one who notices that. How'd you know I was a girl? Most people usually think I'm a guy? You post like a girl Don't take that the wrong way, though.
Guest Crymson Report post Posted March 11, 2007 Amen, sister. Ozzie would have been being flame broiled by goal #2...if that would have happened to him people would be screaming for his head. But it was just a bad bounce. Come now.. what did we say about a persecution complex? I hardly think what you say is correct.
YoungGuns1340 1 Report post Posted March 11, 2007 Its funny, the Wings are one of the most protected, ballwashed teams in the league, and some of you feel like the league is out to get them. It all goes both ways, take the blinders off. Can you take the blinders off, moron??? What do you have to say about two blatant highsticks to the faces of Draper AND Ellis. For Ellis, it drew blood. Thats 6 minutes of PP time that the Wings were screwed out of.
Drake_Marcus 890 Report post Posted March 11, 2007 See my signature boys and girls. No one hit that panic button! If the wings lose this afternoon they'll be twice as hungry on Tuesday
haroldsnepsts 4,826 Report post Posted March 11, 2007 I think the difference is that Dom hasn't let in a bad goal. He was screened on one, a Bruin was WIDE open in front of the net for a deflection on the second, and he was beaten by a perfect shot on the third. The fourth was hideous luck, not goaltending. Ozzie was beaten over the left shoulder (as usual) on an innocent play, then five-holed from less than 6 feet away. That last goal was also not Hasek's fault. Nothing to do. That first goal was questionable. I'd like to see a replay, but screened or not, he's gotta be at the top of his crease playing the angle. The shot was from the far side of the faceoff circle along the boards. That's not one that's usually gonna get by Dom. If the name on the back of the jersey were Osgood when that goal was scored, I bet you'd feel differently.
Wings_Rule_1010 4 Report post Posted March 11, 2007 They score 5-2 "People are headed towards the Detroit River. Not to jump in, but to head home." OMG... I was like, did they seriously just say that.
Guest Crymson Report post Posted March 11, 2007 Ouch... Game Over. Thank's Bruins. We will see you on Tues and Weds. Here's to a couple of great games to come. Cheers! My GF Wishes I Was Hank 0 Report post Posted March 11, 2007 They score 5-2 "People are headed towards the Detroit River. Not to jump in, but to head home." Id be jumping in if my name was Hasek after this game
Feldmarschall 9 Report post Posted March 11, 2007 I'm surprised to say it, but it's been a bad game for Lidstrom and Datsyuk, probably their worst of the year. Pavel even had another ill-timed giveaway that resulted in an excellent offensive chance for the other team.
YoungGuns1340 1 Report post Posted March 11, 2007 They score 5-2 "People are headed towards the Detroit River. Not to jump in, but to head home." Yes. Please, douchebag announcers. Schneids_is_awesome 0 Report post Posted March 11, 2007 we had all of them for the flyers game. Wonderful...like I said, feels like that game. I just can't recall having an entire line of Griffins for the flyers game like we did for this one...must have missed that. You can't tell me the outcome wouldn't have been different or at least not as bad if we were healthy. Nonetheless, a horrible team effort by the wings. Hopefully they'll bring it Tuesday. datsyukismyfriend 4 Report post Posted March 11, 2007 Okay, wasn't just me then. Dom doesn't seem as fast as usual. I wouldn't normally question his health coming back from an... GOD DAMN IT. Game over. ...injury, since he never wants to come back unless he's 100%...but he doesn't look 100% to me. yeah, he looks slow out there. but he looked good against the kings i thought. maybe he aggrivated it last game at some point. i remember he went off balance and went down kinda weird on his right leg after making a seemingly routine glove save vs. the kings. i don't know. Guest Agalloch Report post Posted March 11, 2007 (edited) Hasek is a ******* idiot. The old man needs to ******* retire. He looks blind out there. He's also amazingly lazy. I like how he takes ANOTHER penalty for playing the puck out of the crease. Not only that, but he just wants games to get over with, since he never covers a damn rebound. I also enjoy watching him play the puck along the boards, only to give it right to a Bruin where he quickly nets it. Meanwhile, Hasek isn't even back to his net. Ozzie on Tuesday I hope. He doesn't deserve all the hate he gets here, he played fine the last few games he started. Edited March 11, 2007 by Agalloch
Offsides 21 Report post Posted March 11, 2007 Come now.. what did we say about a persecution complex? I hardly think what you say is correct. Were you at the last few games Ozzie played, weren't you participating in the flambasting of Ozzie? I think so... Ozzie would have been ripped apart by now. Mark THS 2 Report post Posted March 11, 2007 most protected, ballwashed??? seems like you got blinders the other way. They get the TV time, they get the intermission segments on national TV, and they get a fair amount of coverage. They have a good record and deserve it- but there are a slew of guys here that freak out whenever announcers talk about another team or criticize a Wings player and have an overall feeling that the Wings have some sort of media target on their backs. Thats so assbackwards.. And the Wings get a tremendous amount of officiating help. The league loves a team like the Wings that plays the style of game that they want to market. There are plenty of teams in the league that dont get the 'grey area' calls that the Wings get.
Drake_Marcus 890 Report post Posted March 11, 2007 "People are headed towards the Detroit River. Not to jump in, but to head home." Haha- I laughed out loud when he said that. Well boys and gals, looks like I will get a chance to buy some groceries. Maybe when I get home we'll see a hatie for Dats and the game winner in OT for Calder?
