3/11 GDT: Bruins @ Red Wings

That first goal was questionable. I'd like to see a replay, but screened or not, he's gotta be at the top of his crease playing the angle. The shot was from the far side of the faceoff circle along the boards. That's not one that's usually gonna get by Dom.

If the name on the back of the jersey were Osgood when that goal was scored, I bet you'd feel differently.

That was a pretty innocuous goal. Hasek clearly couldn't see jack, and it hit far side. I certainly would not have felt differently no matter who was in goal.

HOWEVER--as far as Osgood goes, we don't EXPECT him to make saves on the level of Hasek.

I think the difference is that Dom hasn't let in a bad goal. He was screened on one, a Bruin was WIDE open in front of the net for a deflection on the second, and he was beaten by a perfect shot on the third. The fourth was hideous luck, not goaltending.

Ozzie was beaten over the left shoulder (as usual) on an innocent play, then five-holed from less than 6 feet away.

That last goal was also not Hasek's fault. Nothing to do.

I stilll think many are blind on some plays when it comes to the goalies. Plus I just hate it when everyong blames and bashes Ozzy (and any other Wing). When I watch I see other Wing jerseys out there not just the one.

But no, the only game in which I lambasted him was the Avs game, and I admitted my mistake.

I'm surprised to say it, but it's been a bad game for Lidstrom and Datsyuk, probably their worst of the year. Pavel even had another ill-timed giveaway that resulted in an excellent offensive chance for the other team.

I don't think Lids has played a bad game. That last goal was sort of a flukey change up pass.

Other than that, I can think of a bad play he's made.

Missed calls happen all the time. They happen to every team, whether you are first or last in the league. This isnt something exclusively happening to the Red Wings, like many of the little bo peeps here would like you to think
