Firstly, they have choked in the playoffs the last several years, so I would expect many to be betting against them.

Me, too. I like being under the radar, low expectations are a great motivator this time of year.

I cancelled my subscription to Hockey News. They are so biased toward Canadian teams and players, I couldn't take it anymore. Free info on the internet is better.

ESPN and the rest of the hockey world media has every right to say the wings could choke in the first round. Since 02, the wings have been a good REGULAR season team, falling in the playoffs way before they should have. Wings need to show them something in order for them to take them as serious cup contenders.

Ahh.. always taking the "lesser" status of the Central as the reason we'll lose, I love it!! Perhaps they didn't notice that we're a fine team against the rest of the league as well. I know I'm overgeneralizing here, and a serious homer.. but with the CenterIce package, I saw a LOT of hockey, and I think we match up well with anyone, either conference.
