There was no time left on the clock for the Flames to make a play, and Cleary did not see Giordano coming. I'd have to see it again, but it didn't seem like it was right at the buzzer. Time was running out for sure. either way, not that bad compared to the other crap they've pulled (ex: Iginla skating over and jawing with the Wings while Cleary was a crumpled heap on the ice) Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

akustyk 84 Report post Posted April 21, 2007 I just looked at the TOI stats and you know who's got the least amount of ice time apart from Rex (3:23)? Sammy (4:34). Sammy had a lot of ice time in Game 4 because Babcock put him as physical presence (Sammy does have some frame, still) which was what we needed to try to break their trap. this time we are on home ice AND are not trailing which means Babs can give more ice time to pure scorers. other factor to mind - we played 7 PKs. this obviously reduced the time coach could put Sammy Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

Anyways, I agree with you about Iginla. I understand he's upset about being down a couple goals right now, but sometimes he comes off like such a baby.
