YoungGuns1340 1 Report post Posted April 22, 2007 Iginla shouldn't be suspended for what he did. It was dirty, yes, but I don't think that it's suspension worthy. Langkow should be out for what he did though. I agree. Iginla shouldnt be out, but Langkow should. Our player is out for god knows how long because of pansy-assed Langkow and got away with EVERYTHING. Thats was pisses me off more than anything. Langkow got NOTHING for what he did. Wings_Rule_1010 4 Report post Posted April 22, 2007 Well, if anything positive comes out of this it was that Melrose was proven wrong, saying that Mclennan wouldn't get suspended for it.
YoungGuns1340 1 Report post Posted April 22, 2007 I love it..very little done to the Flames..take that! No, well just take game 6 and send your sorry ass goons packing back to cow-f*** town.
Burninator 0 Report post Posted April 22, 2007 News: Punches to the FACE are now considered "borderline". However, Maltby getting PUSHED into Kipper is the equivalent of murdering babies. Views: Calgary fans Because every punch to the face gets a game suspension.
johnnybgood 0 Report post Posted April 22, 2007 NO the Wings need to play dirty and use their sticks as weapons and take dirty hit to the heads of their players. If the league will allow this kind of behavior than why not.
RedLightGoesOn 81 Report post Posted April 22, 2007 Wow, the NHL is a ******* joke.... are they trying to make Calgary win? They don't have the balls to call the game right OR punish people who severely act out of line as an NHL Player. Oh, Berry Melrose should not be on ESPN, he can't call hockey right, and he laughed at when Calgary was doing this s*** to us in Game 5. Melrose is a f*cking idiot
HockeyCrazy3033 168 Report post Posted April 22, 2007 Not sure if any posted this or not, but I just read off M-Live that Lebda skated briefly today, but was limping a bit. http://www.mlive.com/redwings/weblog/index..._04.html#248828 I guess it's GOOD that he at least tried to skate. Limping a 'bit' isn't too bad. At least we hope.
Kp-Wings 3 Report post Posted April 22, 2007 Because every punch to the face gets a game suspension. Man alive. I honestly can't believe you guys are such homers that you don't feel that punch, at the very least, should have gotten a penalty or anything. Langkow didn't get s***, despite the fact that his punch caused Lebda to get a concussion. Ridiculous.

CopenhagenWing 38 Report post Posted April 22, 2007 The NHL took the easy way out on this one. Everybody knows Iginla is untouchable. No surprise there. But even if McLennan slash was the worst, I'd rather they leave the backup unpunished and gives Langkow 1 game for the sucker punch.

WingsWingsWings 3 Report post Posted April 22, 2007 I don't really care about McLennan, at least he got a suspension. I'm pissed about Langkow! The NHL lumped him in with all the "inappropriate actions" that the Calgary Flames did. He gave a player a concussion, then acted like he just got hit!! That is so incredibly suspension worthy. The NHL need to grow a pair and not just *****-foot their canadian teams.
C-TownWing 0 Report post Posted April 22, 2007 Wait, $100K...isn't that like $15 million in that worthless Canadian Monopoly money? Maybe this will hurt after all.
Wings_Rule_1010 4 Report post Posted April 22, 2007 more whining here then the entire state of Caliornia.. Yes, people are pissed and complaining. But if you ever want people to take you and your opinion's seriously, I would suggest not making comments like that.
YoungGuns1340 1 Report post Posted April 22, 2007 more whining here then the entire state of Caliornia.. and the entire state of California doesnt even come close to the bitching going on in Calgary. I cant imagine what its going to be like when the Wings own the entire city of Calgary in game 6.

CopenhagenWing 38 Report post Posted April 22, 2007 Because every punch to the face gets a game suspension. Of course not. No need to patronize. IMO, the situation is quite similar to the Nichol-Spacek incident earlier this season. Player A gets checked, takes offence due to him feeling it was a dirty play and punches an unsuspecting player B. Nichol got a lenghty suspension. Square off and settle it. haroldsnepsts 4,826 Report post Posted April 22, 2007 Honestly I'm surprised the fines to Playfair and the Flames were that large. They're appropriate in my opinion, but I assumed the NHL would let them off. Otherwise seems about right. Igoonla is a clown, but didn't really cross the line enough to warrant a suspension. The only beef I have is with Langkow getting nothing for the suckerpunch and choking of Lebda.

Wings_Rule_1010 4 Report post Posted April 22, 2007 The Red Whines..I think that just may stick I am trying to be the immature one, but that actually made me laugh outloud. Not the joke, the fact that you laughed at your own joke.
Kp-Wings 3 Report post Posted April 22, 2007 more whining here then the entire state of Caliornia.. If you're going to insult us, at least spell the name of the state properly. I'm going to be very brash on this one: You Flames fans are complaining even more than we are. At Calgary Puck, you guys are saying Wings players should be suspended for any sort of physical play at all. I'm sorry the Wings aren't a bunch of Euro ******* like you guys would have hoped coming into this series, but tough s***. Call us whiners? Go on your own teams forums and just glance at some of the bulls*** that is going on over there. I dare you to do it. But it won't matter, because all Flames fans are such ridiculous homers that you won't see anything from it. Assholes.
haroldsnepsts 4,826 Report post Posted April 22, 2007 The Red Whines..I think that just may stick why not try to add something to the conversation from a Flames fan's perspective, instead of just being a troll (and not a very clever one at that). keep it up and I'm pretty sure your stay here will be a short one.
