see, this is what I am sick of. We havent even played the game yet. CHILL PEOPLE! its only 2-1. at worst it will be 3-1, which means there is at least 1 more game after that which we can win. at best it will be 2-2... brand new series. the series is not over until the wings have won or lost 4 games... last I checked we only have lost 2. easy people, watch the game and enjoy it while we can

but you aren't stating a fact, you said if we lose today, the series is over. WRONG. it will be only 3-1. far from over. that is why they have to play every game. it is not over after 3 losses, it is over after 4. the point is moot anyways because we are only down 2-1 at the moment.

I rather like to think that hockey is a contest between two teams, and acknowledge that the play of one may very well be the product of the play by the other, for example, the last half of Game 3. You may see the Wings starting to inexplicably suck and play without heart, I see a very big and strong Sharks team start to play their game and leave the Wings without answers.

I'm not trying to give you s***, man, it's just something I've noticed around here. Give credit where it's due; how annoyed would you be to see Sharks fans saying their team lost only because they beat themselves?

This team has a knack for self-destructing, regardless of the team it's facing. The last game was a great example: They let the Sharks back in the game by putzing around with the puck in the defensive zone and generally being sloppy. That's not heart -- that's sitting back and then getting bitten in the ass for it.

Chelly: "Hey! A puck! And in our zone of all places! Small world, eh, little puck? You know, I think I'll call you Luck. Ah, this reminds me of the time--"

Thornton: BAM. WHAM. CRUSH.

Chelly: "The hell? Oh well, all that matters is that Luck and I are--"

The Wings did get sloppy, and that's no joke, but it was more the Sharks disrupting the Wings breakouts than anything. If the Wings had been smart, they would've made the safe play and chipped it out on the glass etc, but they appeared to be unable to handle the forechecking pressure (which is the book on the Wings) and that caused the sloppiness.
