redwingsgirl 0 Report post Posted May 14, 2007 It wasn't a weak goal dips***. The wings allowed the Ducks to control play WAY too long in their own end, and it burned em. Nice goal by the ducks. On to game 3. I agree with Larry Murphy - never give up on it. Keep pushing. Sometimes it works. A win is a win and not matter how the Ducks found a way to win, we wouldn't be happy with the resulting loss for us. We just have to go into Aneheim and get ours back! It's continually been said - this is going to be a long tough series. GO WINGS!!!!!!!
seeinred 1,488 Report post Posted May 14, 2007 whatever makes you happy I guess..... Believe what you want but the first was CLEARLY a goal and now that i"ve seen the 2nd one, I'm not surprised it was upheld either. I can rationalize that the 1st one shoudln't have been a goal for a couple reasons, but it's just that - rationalizing. There is absolutely no ******* chance in hell that 2nd reviewed goal should have counted. I don't care if pushing in is reviewable or not, that goal was scored illegally. BlueMonk 102 Report post Posted May 14, 2007 Well, 1-1 series now. Good, hard fought game, just bounced the other way tonight. Get a split in Anaheim, and all is well for the Wings.
HockeyCrazy3033 168 Report post Posted May 14, 2007 yeah Hasek lost this game big time. He ******* falls back into the goal to the the game and the nlets the garbage go in. Im done all together i could care less if we win or lose. The refs can't make the right calls and our goalie sucks no matter what anyone here says Please stop posting. Aren't you the same guy that went to sleep when the Wings were down 2-0 against the Sharks and when they came back and won in OT, called yourself an idiot? Yep. You said the same s*** last time and yet you're still watching and posting on these boards. Your s***ty ass attitude isn't needed, and you're aren't a fan so stop already. J-Swift 0 Report post Posted May 14, 2007 Im gonna put this as subtly as i can. You didn't watch the f***in game. Hasek fell into the net to tie the game like he lost the game in a shootout earlier in the year. Then OT he lets so weakass goal in. PATHETIC Please retire after this year you piece of crap You think Hasek fell into the net on the tying goal? Consider yourself ignored.
puckloo39 5,686 Report post Posted May 14, 2007 DAMN IT. I REALLY thought this game was ours. You know what? It's not so much anymore about the reviewed goals *although the second one was COMPLETE BS* but the Ducks got away with so much s*** it's unreal. I can't even count how many times they held, roughed up, hooked..etc and got away with it. Pathetic. well, you know, if the Ducks *luck* continues in the same vein, perhaps someone in the NHL will notice and be embarrassed and do something about it. Wait, what am I saying? The Wings better come up big and just outplay the hell out of the Quacks from now on out... they have a big challenge when they have to overcome slow whistles and uncalled penalties, in addition to playing well. Makes it tougher, but they can do it!

DyingAlive 27 Report post Posted May 14, 2007 Could have been a big momentum game, however, no one thought Detroit could just walk in like this. Look on the brightside. Detroit's goals were all very nice goals. Ducks, on the other hand, had one or two fluke goals. The talent is going to remain for the Wings, your not always going to get the good bounce. Vincanni 1 Report post Posted May 14, 2007 If only Hasek had Jiggy's chest protector, if only. Oh well, series tied up, I'm expecting this to be 2-2 coming back to the Joe. San Jose only becamse easier to beat for us so I'm hoping for the same from the ducks and their shortened bench. Not even going to bother how hasek was pushed into the net, it was clear as day and the goal shouldn't have counted. Even the most homeristic Ducks fan can see that, and if they can't they're clueless. Not worth talking to at all. But it counted and it was a good effort, not too mention these games have been close enough that little nuances like that are going to make or break a game. Hasek's gonna rebound in a couple of days and not even air will pass through the net so help me. We're going split this in Anaheim and once again obtain the series lead in game 5. Meaning that he did save the puck, and got shoved by Niedermayer which caused the puck to go in the net. That is no goal. As for the OT goal? He couldn't see it. Plain and simple. zetterbergfuturemvp 0 Report post Posted May 14, 2007 feel like s***.....we HAVE to win a game in Anaheim i think we definetly can ......im just pissed cause we missed a golden opportunity , we win tonight which we should of , and then split the games in anaheim and were up 3-1 which would be HUGE ........got a feeling this series will go to 7 , i just hope buffalo starts winning i dont want ottawa to be all rested

A win is a win and not matter how the Ducks found a way to win, we wouldn't be happy with the resulting loss for us. Apparently, Niedermeyer took you literally on the pushing thing. It worked for him, since the refs couldn't seem to find their whistles, blinded by his brilliant moves, I guess.
eva unit zero 271 Report post Posted May 14, 2007 Hasek was pushed in on the 3rd goal, and screened a little on the OT winner. Please go home and stop trolling. The Ducks made no contact with Hasek until after the puck crossed the line. I don't want to call it a good goal, but it was perfectly legal and should have counted. dw185 0 Report post Posted May 14, 2007 how about that lilja roughing call? that was not nearly as bad as the stuff the ducks were doing as a normal part of the game. either don't call garbage like that, or call everything that resembles it. The wings did play some piss poor hockey at times, but the officiating was just horrid once again. I feel the wings are still up against not only a decent team, but the refs as well. The refs just don't call ANYTHING consistently... No use complaining about it i suppose. On to game 3 where hopefully we can get some less biased officiating. Oh, and by the way, goaltender interference seems to not be called, so i say bert and homer start taking runs at giguere. Just a thought...

SMART people would know it isn't trolling if you are on your own board. Hasek wasn't pushed worth a crap. He clearly flopped back with the puck in his pads and slid right into his goal. Watch the replay as i have on Tivo about 100 times and you would see that.
Guest Agalloch Report post Posted May 14, 2007 Let's look at two very big positives here: 1. Anaheim is not an intimidating place to play. They rival New Jersey in terms of how s***ty the atmosphere is. They also have many empty seats, like the Wings, but without good reasons. 2. Hasek is probably going to play out of his mind again because he allowed four goals. I'm not saying they were bad goals, but anytime he gives up four goals period, he usually plays great aftewards. Andy Pred 48 337 Report post Posted May 14, 2007 I'm calling it now, if Rex ain't in for Calder for game 3 then the playing of an injured Kyle is going to cost us. We need 4 lines flowing against this Ducks side and getting less than 4 mins from one of your top 6 guys is not helping the team. You can say what ya want but I called for this change before tonights game and I'm not saying it would have made a difference to the score, as we gave up 4 eq goals and it was the special teams that got our 3. But we ain't helping ourself's by doing it. Lets hope we can split it in Pondland and come back all square next Sunday. maybe our luck will be back with us for game 3. puckloo39 5,686 Report post Posted May 14, 2007 When Detroit plays we exploit the Ducks weakness. Wings have more hunger to win this series. We'll be 3-1 in the series when it comes back to Detroit. I was sure we would win this one til sammy took that penalty. now that you mention it, what is with these guys (Zata and Sammy, who's next??) taking delay of game penalties with seconds left?? It didn't cost them in game one, but this one cost us. Could we please stop that now, boyz??
