folks, we have 12 shots on goal for the game, and not one was a challenge to any NHL goalie, never mind Padboy. Versus is in heaven because they get to say Giguere every other sentence. Hasek stopped more than that in the first period. I think I see the problem here.

The Wings are beating themselves, and I am in shock. Where is the team that took it to Calgary and SJ?

Too many long series against too many good teams that are too far away from Detroit, MI.

This is really disappointing if this is the way it ends. We've had 2 BS calls go against us that may have cost us two games, but they lost this series by not stepping on Anaheim's throat in Game 4 when they played without Pronger. Hard to win playoff games against good defensive teams when you can't score on the power play.

C'mon guys....a two goal lead is the hardest to protect. Get one and it's a game again.

I blame it on Detroit's lack of execution and inability to finish...bottomline. The blame goes no further than right here, there's always going to be bad calls...can't blame it on that.

For @#$%'s sake, Giguere gets the whistle before the puck has even gotten to him. It takes them at least 5 seconds to whistle it when it's under Dom.

the turning point in this series? the refs ignoring the too many men call in game 5 with a minute and a half left.

that gets called, game over. hell if the refs did their jobs in the firsdt few games, this may well be series over. well refs, officials, you all got your wish. we might be out of the playoffs in a period and a half and it sure as hell won't be because we weren't the better team. i can take losing to edmonton because WE f***ed up, but this time, we deserved to win. and the ducks might win instead? this classless organization of gutless pukes? uggghh what a joke.

and it's not just our series. these officials have been ******* retarded all playoffs, across alot fo series. the ducks should've never gotten past the cabucks.

i for one am sick of it, and barely feel like the cup's worth winning with this bulls*** going on. any wings fans who want to claim "it's our fault" so the loss doesn't hurt as much, are lying to themselves or are blind. we've ben the better team every game but game 1. this should've been over in 5 but call after call on anaheim is missed and the refs just make up for it by doing nothing but making calls in the second period. there are missed calls every year but this year it's been a ******* abomination on the sport itself.

the ducks got away with murder in the third period, and it's the only reason this team of fluke artists is winning.

(oh and f*** the big networks trying to play up giguere. the michelin man has been painfully average)

Are you saying its the refs fault our power play was 0-7 in game 5 or what about tonight 0-4 with 1 shot on net in those power plays, its the players fault not the refs, we have had plenty of chances.
