Not really. I would have said the same thing if Emery won and acted that way. Giguere literally acted like they just won the Cup. It's okay to be happy, but it's always safe to not get TOO excited until you actually get that 4th Stanley Cup clinching win.

I only caught the highlights, but man. Same old dirty ducks was all I saw. Go figure. If playing dirty is the way they win, why change?

The Sens scored 2 PP goals and still lost. Anaheim is still taking undisciplined penalties. But they still find a way to win. I thought the Sens were better in the first 10 minutes but then Anaheim took over after and were the better team throughout the game. I got the impression Ottawa did not feel comfortable handling the Ducks aggressive forecheck and hard hitting. It's like they were shell shocked or something. Ottawa has not faced a team in these playoffs who are as physical as Anaheim is.

The Wings were prepared because they faced 2 physical teams in Calgary and San Jose. Ottawa faced Pitt, NJ and Buffalo who do not play physical at all. I also think the extra long layoff hurt the Sens. They were off for longer than the Ducks were. I think Ottawa wins the next one but each time I predict the Ducks to lose they end up winning.

Unlike in the Detroit series, I thought Anaheim earned their win last night. It's good hockey to watch. I don't think Anaheim is dirty at all. Everyone knows in the Cup Final the refs throw the whistles away.

Nice to be in the Finals and win one. In his interview after he sounded very grounded and the Ducks made the BEST LINE in hockey look like crap on ice. GO DUCKS!

All I want for the finals is Parros v. McGratton It would make Bettman sh*t himself just to see them dressed.

(Sadly they both will prob get games just for being on the bench)

I was impressed with the Mighty Phucks play after they netted the 1st goal. ottawa was taking it to them, but they rode it out. Getsalaugh is such a freakin' joke it isn't even funny. All the man can do is X-check... some people says he has skillz... the only skillz I see is the rapid fire X-checking he can deliver.

Phucks in 6 is still my prediction!

Lou, you have to admit the Ducks have been just a bit lucky. The Niedermayer goal to tie up game 5, bouncing off Lids' stick, cmon. The Ducks have gotten a couple of wins in games they should've lost. However, lady luck is a huge part of winning in the playoffs and the Ducks are benefiting from it. But, luck isn't everything. The Ducks seem to just keep on coming shift after shift and they never change up what they do. I give them alot of credit for that.

Watching last nights game I had deja vu of them playing us. It seems that still the Getzlaf line is dominant no matter who plays against them. Also Moen, Thornton and May are playing very well which you need out of your not so skilled guys.

There's one thing i've noticed so far about the Ducks, they're too talented to lose by a goal. If you are up by only 1 goal, you're likely to get beat by them as happened again last night. For whatever reason nobody can get up on them by 2 goals. IMO, if the Sens want to win this thing they've got to get a 2 goal lead b/c Anaheim is going to score eventually. And like we saw, the Ducks can be down a goal for 55 minutes and pull the sucker out. You've got to get a 3-1 or 4-2 lead on them to make it stick. They just seem to find a way to get that tying goal and they pick up all the momentum while the other team goes into a funk after leading for so long and then BAM, the Ducks get the game winner. Happened to us, happened to the Sens last night. One goal lead ain't gonna cut it against the Ducks.

Getzlaf's five hole backhand masterpiece begs to differ. Ducks looked good although their discipline is still lacking. Thats the price you pay for playing physical. The scary thing is the ducks can still play better.

Getzlaf is extremely skilled, he's a great player. I agree with you though, he seems to cross check a lot. I thought it was funny when he cross checked Comrie about 5 times before finally getting called for it and then he was completely shocked that he was called for it. I hated the look on his face.

its nice for some of you wing fans to get a look at the ducks w/o them playing the wings...most people are realizing they are for real, this isnt just some lucky team to get here.....good teams find ways to win and thats exactly what anaheim has done all year...if the ducks can stop taking stupid penalities ottawa will have no chance in this....
