The Cup bounces off Pronger's shoulder, then falls on his left knee, leaving him physically unable to actually lift the Cup. LMAO!!!That would make a great mastercard commercial! I'm getting so tired of these bulls*** southern markets winning the Cup. A week from now, everyone will have already forgotten about it. If Detroit, NY Rangers, Toronto, or a real hockey market wins it, they savor the moment. When these little bulls*** markets win it, nobody cares after the first week. I'm tired of this. It's a load of bulls*** that it worked, but it did. This isn't bitterness on my part, so much as feeling like this isn't exactly the greatest thing for the NHL. I don't know. Here's a thought on why the West is/has been the better conference the last 5 years: West wins: #1 seed Wings beat #3 seed Carolina in 5 games East wins: #2 seed Devils beat #7 seed Ducks in 7 games East wins: #1 seed Tampa Bay beat #6 seed Calgary in 7 games East wins: #1 seed Carolina #8 seed Oilers in 7 games West wins: #2 seed Ducks #4 seed Ottawa in 5 games The East needs 7 games to beat our lowest seeded Cindarella teams. If the West sends it's best teams to the finals, we smoke them. Anyhow, just a thought. Congrats again to the Ducks - the Cup belongs in the West - even if it's California! Go Wings 2007-08! They paid their dues, and it was their turn to take that next step and win it all. Congrats to the Ducks organization, and that includes Pronger Man, we're soooo close to winning the Stanley Cup again. Even though Ottawa lost in the final, we were the 2nd best team in the Playoffs.
