I'd honestly give Holland some kudos for once for showing some stones. I dont know their exact numbers but Anaheim seems like they might have a problem doing so. Plus, im just biased towards obviously Penner and would rather have him! Yeah...i figured i'd bring it back for ya rather than start a new one since you were the one who originally mentioned Penner (plus i came down on the idea..) I cant see Holland doing that with Vanek. I can get behind this. Also, I've got to think Buffalo will do whatever it takes to hold onto Vanek after losing Drury and Briere. His actions for going after each will have two completely different perceptions by the other GMs. Not that I think we have a chance at signing either of these guys, mind you. I think im gonna have to follow your thinking and take a step back from this thread...over the course of an hour ive really pumped myself over the thought of getting him!
