Your post alone, have made this a two page posting and keeping it near the top. Do you not care, that what happens to the Nashville team effects the whole NHL? Lets say for fun that Illitch decides to take Baselle or how ever you spell his name up on an offer that gives him double what the wings are worth. Are you going to fight like hell to make sure he doesn't move it an hour or so up the road. Heck since you live in hockeytown you'd have to move to Canada. I hate the Preds as much as you, can't stand it when we play them, because they have a good team and they give us a run for our money. Be a sport, if you don't like the Preds when you see a post about them move on, don't even look and you won't have to worry about un-bunching (I know it's not a word) your panties.

Hey Ian, you may "stand behind everything you say". Too bad nobody stands by with you. Does that tell you anything? Does that tell you maybe there isn't something wrong with everybody else and it truly is you that is the problem.

Standing behind what you say is commendable, I love anybody with conviction. However, that doesn't change the fact that you are a hypocrite and have no business speaking for anyone else on the forum.

In your initial post you want dave's stuff tossed from the site cause you claim nobody cares. You don't speak for anybody here so don't. Furthermore, you evoke you high horse again and start waxing all high and mighty about American and freedom of speech. Yeah, this from the guy who immediately wants to shut drsingle down. Where's the freedom of speech in that?

LGW is a great place because it welcomes people from other boards. I can't stand the Preds as much as anybody and I personally think they're going to stink something awful. But that doesn't mean I have to read anything posted by a preds fan or that I have to click the links. Don't get involved in the thread if you don't want to contribute to it. Wanting to see only what you want on the forums is the reason why I called you a spoiled little brat because that's what you're acting like. So in turn you call me a "***". That's just swell.

Tune out if you don't want to see it, you don't speak for everyone else and alot of LGW's may want to know what's going on with the Preds for any number of reasons including they are in our division and they are simply curious. Don't climb up on your 1st amendment pedestal and claim freedom of speech out of one side of your mouth and then try to strip that right away from others.

The posts that DetroitIan has made in this thread are well over a month old. I thought about creating a new thread for this latest article, but decided to stick to my original statement by continuing to use this thread as opposed to creating multiple threads for my articles.

As far as I'm concerned, previous posts are water under the bridge. If a moderator wants to clean up the thread, that's fine by me. If those posts remain, that's also fine by me.

I hate the Preds with a fiery passion that burns like the bowels of hell, and although I don't really have a problem with this thread just because, hard as I might try, I just can't get the stick up my ass that far, it irks me a little that someone is essentially using this forum for free Predator viral advertising (he's started this thread simply to let us know that he's updated his own website? Can I have a thread dedicated to my myspace page and post a little update here everytime I update it there?) - I'd have the same problem if Adam Proteau started a thread here, although less so because he's not affiliated with any other team and because he is, well, qualified.

I welcome opposing view points - life would be incredibly boring, albeit convenient, if everyone agreed with me, but there's an air of useless narcissism to it that bothers me. This is not a thread about another team. This is a thread about another team's fansite.

And I think it's important to note that for all of you jumping down Ian's throat: you're doing the exact same thing that you're chastising him for. Ian said something you obvious disagreed with and got a dozen posts in response essentially telling him to go stick his head back up his ass. He fired back, so did you, and here we are. If we're going to be a forum where all view points are up for discussion, can we please let all view points be up for discussion? There's this nanny patrol that roams around these boards, much like trolls do, nagging and yelling and insulting people, condescendingly correcting them for the slightest mistake and taking them into a back alley when they say something asinine: all you're doing is making this worse and making people like me feel I'm back in Catholic School getting slapped on the wrist by a nun everytime I blink too fast or sigh too loud.
