HockeyCrazy3033 168 Report post Posted October 15, 2007 This is going to be a close, tough, exciting game. BUT the Wings come out on top 4-3. *Cleary, Huds, Flip* GO WINGS!!!!!!!
Lollipop 8 Report post Posted October 15, 2007 (edited) I'm so excited to see this game! I walked out on my job, so I can see it in peace now. EDIT: Wow, Tuzzi is injured too? Looks like him and Schneider got a visit from the Red Wings Karma Police. ;p Edited October 15, 2007 by Lollipop
RedWingedKitten 9 Report post Posted October 15, 2007 I'm feeling a 2-1 or 3-2 wings win. And pure domination by Zata, Dats, and Homer. Either way it will be close.
tipetz22 0 Report post Posted October 15, 2007 Is it just me or does any one else really like the Flip-Kopy-Rex line? I think that getting the young guys to gel on one line is going to pay off in the long run, even though there will be some growing pains in the beginning. I know that it is too early to name the line, but another have any good ones?? I promise I am not trying to hijack the thread. Wings 3 - (Zets, Hudler, THE DRAKE) Ducks 0 Dom gets another record!!! LeftWinger 5,153 Report post Posted October 15, 2007 ...jeez it's pretty sad when Kopecky is your number 2 center! Who said Fedorov wouldn't improve this team? Someone did... Wings 3 - (Zets, Hudler, THE DRAKE) Ducks 0 Dom gets another record!!! ...uh... how about the "1 out of 3" line? Hudler & Kopecky shouldn't even be on an NHL roster, let alone a #2 line!!!! GreatGS 0 Report post Posted October 15, 2007 I'm so excited to see this game! I walked out on my job, so I can see it in peace now. EDIT: Wow, Tuzzi is injured too? Looks like him and Schneider got a visit from the Red Wings Karma Police. ;p I'm kinda tired of seeing hate for Schneider. He played well in Detroit and left to the Ducks for a better offer as he should have. He certainly hasn't done anything to have any bad karma thrown his way. Hate Bert all you want. Chase 0 Report post Posted October 15, 2007 Should be a good close game. To bad I will only be able to watch a blink of it since it starts at 10 and I work at 4a.m. Sweeet west coast...
Drake_Marcus 890 Report post Posted October 15, 2007 ...uh... how about the "1 out of 3" line? Hudler & Kopecky shouldn't even be on an NHL roster, let alone a #2 line!!!! Careful now- you sound like a retard. Hudler had 15 goals and 10 assits in 76 games last year averaging 4th line mins while Filppula had 10 goals and 7 assits in that same time frame. In the playoffs Hudler managed two helpers in 6 games while Filppula had 3 goals and two helpers in 18 games (for the overall pooer scoring rate). Saying Hudler doesn't belong in the NHL is not just retarded, it's super-retarded.
sergei_is_still_a_wing 1 Report post Posted October 15, 2007 (edited) i REALLY like the Rex-Flip-Pecky line. i was at the game last night, and while 13-40-96 stole the show (they were just retarded good), the kids line i'll call it, was great. forechecking. cycling down low. backchecking. they did it all. rex was a little floaty at times (in the wings zone he looked as though he MUST stick to his zone and didn't attempt to steal very often), he still looked damn good. i hope they keep that line. 18-33-11 looked good too. pretty much the entire team played solid (minus lilja, who has dropped a few notches since he was superhuman in the playoffs [for lilja anyway]). its just that 13-40-96 made everyone else look like amateurs. i smell a close game but still a wings victory. the ducks look lost the last few games. when they pull around they will be tough but they don't quite have it yet... 4-2 (with an ENG). 3 goals by zetts dats homer line AGAIN. SweWings 45 Report post Posted October 15, 2007 Detroit win this one. Zetts get another goal and so does Rex...Final score? No idea. Hopefully Lids also get a goal or so... Jamaica Jon 1 Report post Posted October 16, 2007 Let's get another win on this road trip. I expect Downey to be spectacular YET AGAIN (...) and suddenly make us into a cup contender like so many people on these boards think he will... (To clarify, I'm not a Downey hater, but I do think people over-exaggerate his effect on this team JUST a little...) But to be serious, I hope Zetterberg keeps up his pace and retains the lead in the scoring race. AND FILPPULA NEEDS A FREAKING POINT! GO WINGS!

Echolalia 2,961 Report post Posted October 16, 2007 Wings are going to loose this one 3 to 2, and things will happen in this order: 1.Getzlaf scores 2. Drake gets into a fight with Perry 3. Fillpula scores 4. Homer scores 5. Perry scores 6. Mcdonald scores
55fan 5,133 Report post Posted October 16, 2007 Rexflipecky line. I like it. I also like seeing Drapes, Clears, Malts together. If these guys keep playing like they did last night, there's no reason in the world that 96-13-40 can't stay together.
YoungGuns1340 1 Report post Posted October 16, 2007 I think Hank keeps it up tonight! Im hoping for a high scoring game. 4-3 sounds about right.
Datsyukian Geek 2 Report post Posted October 16, 2007 My prediction? 2-1 Wings For Detroit, Z will keep his point-getting going by notching another goal, and Kronner will get the other tally. For the Ducks, Scott Neidermeyer will score a goal set up by Teemu Selanne, the two of them will immediately announce their retirement, and henceforth the pair will cease their reign as fence-humping bastards. /sarcasm
redwingslady87 130 Report post Posted October 16, 2007 (edited) 1 hour guys!!! Everyone awake and ready for a good game?? Well if you're not then grab some caffine and keep those eyelids open with scotch tape!!!! I myself am on a sugar buzz right now, so I'll keep it up, and then come 1am, I'll be out cold. For anyone who isn't watching to pass the time, Toronto vs Buffalo is having an amazing 3rd period. Buffalo scored 2 to tie it 2-2 and Toronto just added one more to make it 3-2 Edited October 16, 2007 by redwingslady87
