Thats a lot to give up for 1 player who has been slumping a bit this year, although he seems to be picking it up a little lately.

This was an Ontario Hockey League trade, so yeah. Edited by Systemfel

Sure did in his debut. Helped his new team beat Kitchener in OT, 5-4.

Scored 1+2 and picked up the 1st star of the game too.

Wasn't sure if this was an overage trade or what.. but i see he is an 1988 birth year so it was just a normal one.

Brampton also received a kick ass defenseman yesterday in Shepley also

No where else to put this really...

2 goals and an assist today for Cory. Was +2, scored the GWG and was awarded the 1st star.

Hopefully this gets him going.

Trades have no bearing on who holds the players rights. Cory is still Red WIngs property, but just plays in another OHL city now.
