dallas27 7 Report post Posted January 7, 2008 Watching these Chicago games sucks, feel like they are never out of it as they have the Wings number, well sort of now. Already looking ahead to the Ottawa game seeing as it may be the most important one as it very well could be the Finals matchup and especially to shut the Ottawa crybabys up. Hasek would be scheduled to play...you go with Ozzie or Hasek?

Hasek would be scheduled to play...you go with Ozzie or Hasek? I'd go with Ozzie, only because the Sens know Dom too well. That said, it gives Dom some added incentive to play lights out against his old team.
BlueMonk 102 Report post Posted January 7, 2008 I know people are excited about Detroit-Ottawa, but I'm much more interested in seeing the next game against the Ducks now that Niedermayer is back.
Yemack 1 Report post Posted January 7, 2008 well even though we won, it really wasn't a great ending I hoped. I really wanted for us to push pedal till the end and suck their life out of them in front of sold out crowd. Kudos to Hawks, they put on their playoff level effort today. But we still beat them in our regular season mode
wings_fanatic 677 Report post Posted January 7, 2008 Id go with Dom because, for the most part, goalies seem to play "more" good against their former team, likely because they know what the players are liable to do, and I think Dom is very good with his anticipation in the first place.... Also I really think Dom is literally getting better game by game that he plays, as his save percentage and goals against average have both gotten better and better by the game since the beginning of December. And, for what it is worth, I like Babcock's rotation of the netminers because in a way it seems Dom and Ozzy are "competing" with each other, which is resulting in spectacualar performances, which just betters our team. Hasek would be scheduled to play...you go with Ozzie or Hasek? Got an answer to that one, seems Dom will play his old team according to this: Coach Mike Babcock said after Sunday's win in Chicago that his plan is to alternate Chris Osgood and Dominik Hasek through the 60th game of the season. Hasek will start at home Tuesday against Colorado. Osgood, who moved into a tie with Rogie Vachon for 15th on the NHL's all-time win list last night, will start Thursday's game. http://redwingscorner.blogspot.com/2008/01...-and-forth.html

Drimo 0 Report post Posted January 7, 2008 WDF was up with Builin's jab at Kopeckys cock about? friggin *****. I dunno, but he made a fool of himself for trying to argue the penalty. It was AFTER the whistle and even though it didn't hit Kopecky's nuts, an obvious intent to slash was made and it looked like a clear cheap shot. At least try to disguise it like Dom! Lady in REd 0 Report post Posted January 7, 2008 Actually I don't know if this was brought up already here, but aside for Builin's little jab there, this was a very clean game penalty wise.
BlackhawksFan 4 Report post Posted January 7, 2008 Kudos to Hawks, they put on their playoff level effort today. What are you talking about? That was a pretty bad game for the Hawks. Very, very sloppy. I can probably count on one hand the tape to tape passes. The Hawks are hurting right now. And if any of you know this guy... Can you...dispose of him? Very, very annoying. The Hawks are hurting right now. At least you showed up after a lose. It seems that other Chicago trolls and other teams trolls only show up when their team wins. You're right it was a bad game for Chicago lots of INJ for your team. However, it's not to be used as an excuse. We have won and lost with key INJ. Hank, Homer, Malts. I'm sure on 3/11 it should be a good game.
Z and D for the C 712 Report post Posted January 7, 2008 ...and the wings played on a back to back night. Plus it's not like the Wing have played their best hockey against the Hawks. Like said though, the next time we play will be a good game.
