Lady in REd 0 Report post Posted January 24, 2008 AH! But there is a problem with that. Pronger was EXPECTED to win that fight and did not. There is a bit of a golf-like handicap when it comes to judging hockey fights. Say it were 1990 and Probert squared off with Modano. Were Probert in Pronger's place and Modano in Cleary's, Dallas/Minne fans would still be talking about the fight today. Pronger should have won, and since he didn't ( I view it as a draw) there is some feeling of victory for Cleary. True that, I was just looking at it as if both players were equal fighters. I tend to always do that, even when I know a certain player is WAY better with his fists than the other (as this siutuation).
