 Don't tell my lady.

Haha. I'm a sucker for a gal with bright blue eyes, so sure, why not Lids. It helps that he's one of the best d-men of all time!

I spy a man crush! Only kidding, I'm glad you appreciate his icy blue gaze

I dunno if Downey won that cleanly... I was looking for a patented Downey one-punch KO

As far as I'm concerned, Downey has the ONLY 100% "cleanly" won fight in the history of the NHL.

EDIT: I've never used the video embedder, so here's my first go at it.

Calm down. Internetz popularity contest. YAY! Osgod and i already moved on, but i appreciate you sticking up for your web friends. He commented that he felt Cleary was terrified and that Pronger continuing to punch him while down was the same as Dmac sticking up for Draper. Far more people disagreed with those comments than mine, but thanks for playing. I hope we can still be BFF and that you will still enjoy the 4rd. Now that intelligent.

I hope you're not being sarcastic. Because I've got a box of BFF necklaces and no one to send them to.

Fights are so hard to judge. I don't usually count "falling down" as winning or losing a fight. You just lost your balance. I like KOs. So, in my book, Pronger didn't beat Cleary, as they both fell down, and Downey didn't really win his fight.

That's just my outlook, though. I'm kind of demanding in what I expect from fights. ;)

I have to call it a draw at first glance. Downey is a decent light heavyweight, but we really need a legit heavy in the lineup, since most of Downey's fights have been draws against guys who aren't considered anywhere close to heavyweight, with maybe the exception of Shelley.

Yeah, but I want a fighter who can play hockey, unlike the type of player some people want.

You know, am I the only feeling like the lucky boucnes are going the Wings way? A lot of buzz has been over how the Ducks got lucky last year. This year it seems that dropped sticks seem to be breaking up Anaheim's play (and other things) whereas last year the WIngs were frustrated by things like that. A good sign for this year's inevitable playoff rematch?

EDIT: That isn't to say the Wings are outplaying them (they are), but if this were last year the Ducks would have scored off a few bizarre bounces and freak accidents.

I fear that! I'm not happy walking into the third against this team with anything more than a three goal lead or a red-hot Z-Dats combo :P

People are just looking at the whole "turtle" thing with the Cleary situation. But yeah, I totally agree with you, it's really hard to tell who wins a fight when both players land good hits but one ends up falling first. Getting someone to fall down to me is just kind of getting the las t"screw you" in.
