jim3033 1 Report post Posted February 8, 2008 Did you see them callin' ozzy to go to the bench at that delayed penalty? He wouldn't budge! This is like a scouting/trade assessment game. Redwings are just testing out their weak spots on these guys. They showed Ken Holland watching the game. He looked like a hawk! wrap around Z!!!!!!!!!!!! haroldsnepsts 4,826 Report post Posted February 8, 2008 ZATA!!!! 33rd goal of the season! Flukey goals (except for Z's wraparound) and some early weak calls against the Wings. I know people generally think the refs are screwing Detroit over, but these were some really iffy calls.

And then there are games like this where they apparently just go one way. *looks to see who the refs are* Hasenfratz and Kozari. Don't know the latter, Hasenfratz has bugged me in the past though. Yeah, I don't know these two at all really. But they called diving on Homer, which I didn't really see. But it was completly away from the play, so even if it was a dive it seems like something they'd let go. Then I think Franzen got called for holding the stick, when he didn't even grab it. He had his free hand off his stick protecting the puck as he skated in the corner and hit the other guys stick, but didn't grab it at all. The ref behind the play called it. I hate whenever Homer gets called for diving; everyone knows that he just falls down a lot.

Obviously these refs have never seen Homer skate before. He falls down about as much as I do skating.
