timothy1997 0 Report post Posted April 4, 2008 I am predicting Tigers first win of the season today (If they get the game in). Robertson vs Contraeas(sp) plus Leyland lashed out on the team to the media saying "this team stinks" . In 2006 he did that early on and the team responded, let's hope it happens again. They will get rolling, and when they do it will be hard to stop. I think you should give the Tigs your easy button
rwfan007 18 Report post Posted April 4, 2008 this feels like '06 after that early Oakland series when Jimmy Lee snapped and went off on the team. After that we started playing well like a team
Guest Hank=FutureCaptain Report post Posted April 4, 2008 Nice to see our bats start to come alive today. 5-5 bottom of the 6th right now. Unfortunately this win probably rides on our relief....so who knows at this point...
GoWings1905 2,694 Report post Posted April 4, 2008 (edited) Why the hell is Jason Grilli on the Tigers roster still? Does the guy ever have an appearance where he doesn't give up at least a run? Here is the first of many games the Tigers bullpen will blow this season. * Way to go Grilli, five straight players with a hit now. I want to get paid millions of dollars to throw batting practice. dallas27 7 Report post Posted April 4, 2008 Grilli gets his golf stuff at my work, which is why he is still on the team. That's really the only answer I got.

mannysBETTER3434 1 Report post Posted April 4, 2008 Letting Grilli pitch is like setting a baseball on a tee. Don't understand what they have seen in him the last year and a half.

Lou_Siffer 1 Report post Posted April 5, 2008 Nice to know we have Beltran as our savior now. As for Willis, that was probably the worst 1 hit outing ive ever seen. What the hell is up with these bats? Man, was our entire team previously on steroids or something??? Get it together fellas!

GoWings1905 2,694 Report post Posted April 6, 2008 (edited) The Tigers really need a win tomorrow night, to say the least. I don't want to see this team going to Boston with an 0-6 record. The "fluke" start could turn real ugly if it comes to that point. Lets all hope this is the Tigers slump for the season. Better to get it out of the way now, as opposed to post All-Star Game like last year. Leyland is probably smoking three packs per day after these first five games. timothy1997 0 Report post Posted April 6, 2008 i am actually happy this team is getting smacked around a bit early. Maybe now they can finally stop mailing it in and actually gel and become a good team. It wouldn't phase me one bit if they get blown out tomorrow night on national team. Getting this team the **** out of town is just what they need.
